Once captured, miles apart, they were reunited at the kennel. They are so happy to be back together sharing a kennel space, eating together and sleeping snuggled together. I get very excited when I’m with humans and enjoy being part of the action. I’m kid-friendly and cat-friendly, too! I’m a high-energy guy and get especially enthusiastic when playing with other dogs. Sometimes I play a little rough and may nip during dog-to-dog play — it’s probably my herding instincts kicking in. I used to be the neighborhood’s friendly community stray, but since being rescued, I’ve discovered that couches, unlimited treats, and people are way better than street life. With my ginger-red coat I am the talk of the town, however, I can only be adopted in my town because I am kind of an anxious kind of fellow. I love other dogs and must be adopted with another calm/confident dog please. My new owners need to be patient and great at building confidence in me, as I never was loved on as a pup so I am still nervous with new people and in new situations.
