Story
Java is a friendly, fashionable, and fun 4-year-old girlie. She’s athletic and loves playing fetch, walks in nature, chasing rabbits, and swimming; but most of all, she loves cuddles! She is smart and loves to play in the snow, and lay in the sun. Her favorite treats are chicken and quinoa, and cold coconut water on a hot day. Java loves warm soapy baths and is a perfect smedium size for any home. She would thrive with someone who enjoys the outdoors, or with a family who has a house and big backyard with children or other dogs to keep her active. I unfortunately work two jobs and will soon start a doctorate program, so I am unable to give her adequate time, but hoping the right family comes through soon so she can have a great summer!

Story
Jack Spratt is 6 years old Loverboy thst makes friends everywherehe goes.  He is such a combination of great breeds and his DNA profile is probably everything but the kitchen sink. For now let's say Lab/ Boxer mix with sprinkles of lots of other puppy dog tail wags.  At 6 years, he is a 64 pound, handsome dude that is strong. so easy going and a happy go lucky boy. His only manners need is to not pull on a leash.  He is potty trained, neutered and UTD on shots. He loves all people and playing ball is his favorite. Good with other dogs but no cats. Jack enjoys romping in a fenced yard and he likes the car rides.  He loves everyone and everyone who meets him falls fast and hard in love with him.  He never stops smiling or wagging his tail.  He is a favorite at at the vets office too.  We call him our gentle giant love muffin !  His human is undergoing serious medical issues and reluctantly must rehome this sweet boy she loves so much. Its heartbreaking for her.  Whoever adopts him is getting a lifelong, loyal and loving friend.  There is no better dog. Story
Meet Zuri! Our beautiful little girl that is mixed with all sorts of gorgeous dog elements that include most probably Border Collie/Husky mix.  This crystal blue eyed girl has waited a long time to have her chance to be offered for adoption.  You see she was part of a cruelty case back in October and was severely malnourished and was pregnant with babies.  All her pretty babies have been adopted but poor Zuri was left behind.  She was taken from the small TN shelter last month to decompress and learn some home/family life.  She is ready now for a wonderful new family to call her own .  This girl is a mature and settled 3-4 years old, spayed, UTD on vaccinations, HW- and ready for the good life with a family that will love and cherish her forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and open personality will make you love her instantly.  This girl loves to run and play in the yard with other dogs and absolutely loves the water! She does good as your passenger in the car for pup cup runs and would do good in a home with older, dog savvy children that are 10 years and above. She is still learning not to pull on her leash and is doing very good at her sit command. Zuri just wants her chance to prove that she’s a great family member and cuddle up with you at night!  If you are interested in this housebroken, crate trained, pretty girl that deserves the best life from her on out…please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 24, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
Our 5 month old handsome Lab mix boy is called Finnick and he is a lucky little guy with a heart full of love.   This boy was taken from a home where he was not treated nicely and the threat of physical loomed very real for him.  No sweet and innocent puppy should ever be harmed because of human instability.  He is the happiest little guy who weighs 17 pounds and will be a healthy 50 pounds adult boy when fully grown.  This boy has energy and a lively personality that needs challenges and other dogs to play with. Finnick is not a loner and he will need companionship on a regular basis during the day.  He loves to chase the cats at the foster home as a game and he will beg other dogs to play with him too.  He is crate trained and housebroken and a wonderful little guy when it comes to playing and being around children.  He is the complete package as a family pet to consider adopting.  A fenced yard would be a good idea for this active boy to play for hours while you tend to things inside the home.  Please consider this handsome and happy boy and write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 24, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
This is our little Black Lab mix sister, Louise, and she and her sister Thelma were found wondering on a country road after they were apparently dumped form a car or truck.  They were so scared and hungry, and soon this wonderful rescue woman who works with Critter Cavalry Rescue encountered them on the road and knew they would be killed if she didn’t stop to pick them up.  This girl is 8 months old and weighs 40 pounds.  She is healthy and very well adjusted now that she has spent two weeks with the foster mom and her pack of farm animals.  She is around dogs, cats, goats, pigs, horses and even new born puppies.  She is curious, sweet and just begging for some love and attention.  She is very polite and minds well.   She is like a sponge right now and we are wanting a family to scoop her up and give her all the secure love and reassurance that she deserves in order to grow smarter and more grounded with who she is.  She will be a 50 pounds adult girl and she will be a beauty that is loving, regal, positive and happy.  If you are interested, please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   She has been around grandchildren and does beautifully. Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.May 24, 2024, 12:04 am

Story
Who doesn’t like a nice easy going Sunday…and our Sunday girl is the most wonderful Goldendoodle girl you could ever meet.  This girl is only 6 years old and just 60 pounds.  She is looking for the best ever home because she deserves the best of the best.  The Doodle that are being turned over and over in the world are not always the best…but Sunday is a gem and nothing wrong with her except her mom and family have fallen on hard financial times and they have to admit that they cannot maintain her A+ care that she will need as she grows older.  This sweetheart is NOT a crazy Doodle like some can be.  She is a loving and cuddly girl that likes your attention and gives it back ten fold. She is so good that she lives with a 3 year old, busy child and she is patient and great with him.  When it comes to other dogs and cats, she is also great.  She has all the wonderful manners that you want.  Crate trained, housebroken, good on a leash and she loves people when they drop by.  She is calm except in storms and you will have to anticipate those.  If you are interested in this very, very special girl please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live and that you are interested in our golden girl named Sunday. Story
Male, 1.5 years old, 60 lbs This happy golden retriever was surrendered to the shelter without even a reason from his owners. He's so sweet and silly and was excited at first to get to play with all the other dogs, but now he's confused why he's in a kennel all by himself. Can you give this goofy guy the home full of laughter and love that he deserves? Lassey is new to the rescue. We will add more information as we get to know the dog better. If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP,Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
