Current Location: Front Royal, VA Darcy is a 4-month-old white Lab Retriever mix with a huge zest for life and the spirit of a little adventurer! This happy girl is always on the move, exploring her surroundings, chasing toys, and playing with her canine friends. She loves tossing toys into the air, pouncing on random pieces of mulch, and investigating anything that catches her eye. Outside, she is like the Eveready Bunny, running and playing with dogs much bigger than herself! Darcy’s adventures aren’t limited to the yard. She has boldly jumped into a pond at the base of a waterfall and swum across, then climbed on the rocks to investigate some more. Nothing seems to dampen her enthusiasm for discovering the world! Don't miss out on this gorgeous chocolate-coated boy! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Jupiter aka Juju. He loves walks, playing tug-a-war, and doing food puzzles. He's one smart cookie! He has made SUCH incredible progress in the couple of months he has spent with his foster, working very hard to be a good boy. His biggest struggle is leash reactivity. It has been so rewarding to see his improvement through patient time spent outdoors, lots of treats and affirmation, and space from triggers (other dogs and bikes). Jupiter's special talent is that he can also jump baby gates and lock doors! He aims to please, loves to snug and give little kisses. He will need to keep working on his confidence around other dogs. We suspect that he will make a great running buddy. He has a good handle on potty training. Juju is quite comfortable in his crate, but sometimes feels left out and will let you know about it! 📌 Important Adoption Information All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process. ------- Nemo’s story began in a place no puppy should have to grow up. He was found as a very young puppy, tied up at a duck farm in a rural area on the outskirts of the city. Alongside him was his sister, Semo. Both puppies were kept on chains, despite being only around six months old at the time. They were believed to have been raised to guard the farm. The conditions were extremely poor. Food and water were not consistently provided, and the environment was not suitable for young dogs. Thankfully, a local resident noticed their situation and began bringing them food and water every day. After repeatedly trying to persuade the farm owner without success, the resident eventually offered to buy the dogs to secure their safety. The owner agreed, and Nemo and his sister were finally released and brought into a private shelter. At the shelter, both dogs received stable care and began to recover—physically and emotionally. Semo was adopted last year (2025) and now lives happily with her forever family in San Francisco. Nemo has remained in our care, and throughout this time, he has shown nothing but a kind and loving nature. He is exceptionally friendly with both people and other dogs. In fact, he is so gentle and welcoming that he could easily be described as a “welcome dog”—the kind of dog who makes everyone feel at ease. Nemo loves toys, is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and walks calmly on a leash. He is generally confident, though he may occasionally startle when large vehicles pass by or when motorcycles move quickly nearby. Nemo is in excellent health and has all the qualities of a wonderful companion. He is affectionate, well-mannered, and deeply social—a truly ideal family dog. Now, he is simply waiting for a family of his own. --------- ** Adoption Fee Information: The adoption fee covers international transportation and medical expenses, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, a health certificate, deworming, and other necessary veterinary care. In addition to the adoption fee, adopters are responsible for separate entry costs, which must be paid directly to the local customs broker who assists with the dog's customs clearance upon arrival at the U.S. airport. Current Location: Vienna, VA Buck is a handsome 4-year-old Golden Retriever Poodle mix with a gorgeous golden coat, a strapping 60-pound build, and a whole lot of enthusiasm for life! Buck is curious about the world around him, especially when he spots a deer, bird, or squirrel. He may try to pull toward them, but he can be redirected and continue his walk. He is still working on his leash manners and learning to walk on the left with a loose leash. He is making progress and will benefit from continued practice and positive reinforcement. Buck is also a big fan of food, which comes in handy for training. He is working on “sit” and occasionally demonstrates what we like to call selective hearing. His hearing seems to improve dramatically when there is a treat in hand or a food bowl nearby! He can get very excited when it is time to come out of his crate or go for a walk. He may jump, pace, and work himself up before settling into the activity. With consistency and patience, he is learning to manage that excitement. Buck is a good eater, sleeps through the night in his crate, and is quiet and comfortable while crated. He is generally a quiet boy and has only barked back at a particularly chatty Miniature Pinscher. Best of all, Buck enjoys other dogs and would love having a canine companion. He is already neutered and ready to find a family who will appreciate his big heart, handsome looks, and enthusiastic personality. Buck is a wonderful combination of sweet, curious, energetic, and goofy. He is still polishing his manners, but he is a very good boy who is ready to keep learning with a family of his own.
