Story
Introducing Bella, a lovely black lab mix with a heart full of playfulness. Bella came to us off the euthanasia list from a local shelter. Before arriving at the shelter Bella spent most of her life outside with a short tether. This strong hearted girl ended up giving birth in our rescue and nursed a whole litter of puppies. Now it is Bella's time to shine and find a home for herself. Despite a tough past, Bella is ready to embrace a new chapter of love and joy. She may take some time to form a close bond with new people and dogs, but once she does her affection knows no bounds. Now don't let her fool you she still loves affection from new people and dogs! Bella thrives in a home with older children and dogs of similar size, preferably with even tempered companions. If you're seeking a loyal friend who appreciates playtime and patience, Bella is the perfect addition to your family. Open your heart to this resilient canine companion! Hello, It is with heavy hearts that we are rehoming Gyn due to some personal medical issues. She is a beautiful 4 month old puppy who loves being outside and playing. She is great with kids (we have a 3 yr old) and is great with other dogs. Gyn is a super sweet puppy who loves doing puppy things. She is partially potty trained and is crate trained. If adopted you can have the crate, her treats, her toys, and her towel (her comfort item). Please consider adding this amazing young pupper to your family! Please feel free to message me with any questions!

Story
I have had Jake since May of 2019, He is 4 years old. I bought him from a fellow church member. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves to play fetch with his ball and loves his toys and bones. Super sweet and will stay by your side wherever you go. He is a lab and if he gets bored he will chew, but he doesn't chew a lot. I have never lost a pair of shoes due to him chewing them. The only down side to Jake...he really needs some lessons in manners. He gets really excited around people he doesn't know or when people come over to the house. He just wants their attention and he doesn't realize how big he is. He is definitely a mama's boy. I am recently divorced and am having to work so much more than I used to. He needs someone who can take the time with him. I just don't have it. His crate, bed and toys will go with him, along with any food or treats he has. We are in Winder/Auburn area. We are not in Sugar Hill.

Story
Mariah loves attention, her love language is physical touch. She’s very anxious meeting new people but when she feels the genuine love she warms up. She has never bitten anyone, she loves kids and small dogs are her favorite. She has been trained with basic commands. She is very smart she knows what’s right and what’s wrong. “Mariah sit, Paw”And thank her, then proceed to give instructions. She also does not eat anything that is not food, I’ve never had to worry about her ripping or biting cords, clothing, etc. She loves Pig ears and toys and it’s easy for her to identify what is meant for her.

Story
Loki may look familiar to some. He was adopted just 1 year ago and has found his way back to us. However, him being returned was no fault of his own. His dad is having hip surgery and Loki is a very active strong guy. He needs a family that will work on his manors and keep him active. His previous owner did not keep up with his training and he acts like an unruly teenager at times, so someone that can make sure he keeps up on his training is crucial. He may be 8 years old, but at heart he is still 4. https://labradorfriends.com/loki23/ Loki sits patiently waiting for his forever family. He knows they’re out there somewhere! He was returned 2 times for no good reason! First, his family of almost 7 years was moving and didn’t take home with. Then, he was adopted for just a year before his dad could no longer care for him due to a hip surgery. Loki is confused why he can’t ever leave his doggie daycare and go home. He loves every person he meets and loves his doggie friends at daycare. He knows his commands and manors but needs some brushing up. He likes to see how high he can jump to kiss you, but his doggie daycare is working on that with him! He is very trainable and just wants love. Interested in fostering or adopting sweet Loki?

Story
Hops Meet Hops This adorable guy is appropriately named, as he loves to hop around and play. His ears are also quite bouncy when he gets going! Hops just came in with his brother Ale. Hops has the lighter face in pictures. They are both about 4 months old and will be big boys when full grown. Hops is currently 40lbs and Ale is 37lbs. Both boys are very sweet and seem to be your typical curious puppies. Hops is the more outgoing of the two, and both seem a bit unsure with new situations, but they seem to learn quickly. They both will need some obedience training and some time to understand walking on a leash. They just came in to the rescue so we are working on getting them into foster homes to learn more about their personalities. Stay tuned for updates! Foster Update: Ale and Hops enjoyed meeting several visitors and the other pups at our adoption event today. These sweet playful boys are hoping to meet their forever families soon. FOSTER UPDATE 2/15/23: Mr Hops is doing great. He is sweet, loving, and playful. I truly believe he is happy. He still looks thin, but he has gained 16 pounds since he has been with Lab Friends. Hops has a lot of energy and enjoys running around the backyard. He enjoys playing with Yogi and Mistletoe. Sometimes they have a three way bout worthy of WWF. Hops would really enjoy an active family. He has a ton of love to give and he deserves to be loved in return for the rest of his days.
