Story
Major perfectly defines a 'Velcro Dog'. All he wants is to be with you, whatever you are doing. Dinner? My favourite thing! Playtime? I thought you'd never ask, let me get a toy! Walk? I'll wait for you by the door! Car ride? I call shotgun! Netflix? I'm already on the couch! Major spent the past 6 months in a shelter, he's now doing incredibly well with walking on a leash and house training. No accidents in his foster home! He's a 1yr old 60lb goober who loves other dogs & older children, (he's super sweet but so exuberant he might knock a little one over) Major loves other dogs & is unreactive to horses. He is very interested in the cats at his foster home so he would need initial supervision & reinforcement if you have kitties. He would thrive in an active family or with someone who loves to walk/hike/run. If you'd like to find out more about making this gorgeous pup a member of your family & to see whether (s)he would be a good fit in your home, please fill out our adoption form here: https://airtable.com/shrlL2pbqSGTRJiyc *If you live in rented accommodation, please familiarise yourself with the property management's pet policy. Our adoption fee covers an initial comprehensive veterinary examination, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test, (for dogs > 12 months), parasite screening with treatment if needed, flea/tick treatment if needed, microchip, spay/neuter, heartworm preventative medication, (for dogs > 3 months) plus any other medication or treatment needed up until the day they are adopted.

Story
Kevin is a 2 year old black lab mix. He is very affectionate and gets along with everyone. He also loves attention and super active. He gets along with other dogs and some cats. He is fully house trained and knows common commands, such as, calm, sit, lay, stay, go, off and out. He is afraid of balloon and loves all his chew toys. I would recommend a bone because his stuffies last about a couple of hours. He is not a fan of dog beds, he does prefer his blanket in his crate and a pillow.

Story
Mariah loves attention, her love language is physical touch. She’s very anxious meeting new people but when she feels the genuine love she warms up. She has never bitten anyone, she loves kids and small dogs are her favorite. She has been trained with basic commands. She is very smart she knows what’s right and what’s wrong. “Mariah sit, Paw”And thank her, then proceed to give instructions. She also does not eat anything that is not food, I’ve never had to worry about her ripping or biting cords, clothing, etc. She loves Pig ears and toys and it’s easy for her to identify what is meant for her.

Story
Hi I’m Sallie Brown and I would love to meet you! I am a little older (10 years) than some of the other girls around here, but I am still very active and love walks and car rides. I have a nice slim body (45 pounds) and great legs for walking. I’m also better trained than some of the other younger ones. I am house and crate trained and have good manners so you won’t need to worry about potty training with me. I would like to spend my days in a quiet home free of children, so I can enjoy time with adults who appreciate the quietness of life.  I have a sharp mind and enjoy mental stimulation. I enjoy walking alone or with another well-behaved dog I can be friends with, but I do like my personal space in a home. As I have matured, I have found that I like structure & consistency a lot. Therefore, I don’t want to share space with other little ones who don’t share my need for a quiet, settled lifestyle. If you enjoy the quieter side of life with daily walks and some brain exercises, then I think we could be a great match. Story
Mustang loves people. He cannot get enough attention from everyone. He is the definition of a velcro dog. He is always ready to go on a car ride and if you’re not careful, will jump in someone else’s car. He is particularly fond of pick-up trucks. If a car is involved, he is always thinking “Where are WE going?”   Mustang loves toys, chews, and balls. Soft toys will be gutted within 2 minutes, but he will love those 2 minutes and continue to play with the toy. He enjoys running around by himself or with other dogs, chasing balls and not bringing them back and has the energy and good nature of a lab.   Mustang is a happy-go-lucky boy, and he will do well with doggy siblings his size or not too much smaller, or he can be a solo doggo. He is a bit unaware of his size (70lbs). He will not do well living with a cat. He does have barrier reactivity to other reactive dogs, that needs to be worked through. He is highly food motivated, so training with consistency will be very successful.    He loves blankets! It is not uncommon to see him joyously wriggling around with a blanket he wrapped himself in, or walking around with a blanket over his head. Blankets are his Disney World!   He has a great appetite and has no issues with any foods or treats. He is very healthy and does not have a history of any medical issues.    He is easy to love, low maintenance, and Mustang has a huge heart. He knows the secret to life is to love and be loved.     For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue. *Some of our animals receive a high volume of applications, and we strive to select the best home for each animal.
