Story
Argo was adopted in 2018 as a puppy from the humane society. He's an energetic home protector who loves his family fiercly, but isn't fond of strangers. Because of this and our family growing with children over the last few years, we feel like he would be happiest in a home where he can get more attention. He's always been a mostly indoor living dog, but he loves playing outside and going for walks/run. We have another dog at the house who he gets along with very well. He's been to many dog parks and doggy daycare without incident. He loves running and chasing and sometimes wrestling with his current doggy brother.

Story
Hi, my name is Luki! I am 4 years old and love to snuggle. My older brother, Go Teddy, is my best friend. I love when he lets me wrestle with him and tug with the rope.  If not with him, I like to be near my human. My favorite activities include playing with  my brother or other dog friends. It takes a few minutes for me to warm up to new dogs and human strangers, but once I know you are safe, I will be your best companion.   I have great manners including being potty trained and only chewing on my toys. My older brother, Go Teddy, has always been my best friend and I would love to be adopted with him. You should go check-out his profile.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          March 18, 2025, 3:36 pm

Story
Chewy Gray is an 11-year-old Lab-Weimaraner mix with a heart as big as her love for snuggles! Don't let her age fool you—this girl is full of life and energy, always ready for playtime and adventures. She’s spayed, house-trained, and crate-trained, making her the perfect companion for any loving home. Chewy is a social butterfly who adores people, other dogs, and even cats! She thrives in a home where her humans are around often because nothing makes her happier than being with her family. Whether she’s leaning into you for a hug, curling up on top of you for a nap, or following you from room to room, she’s all about love and companionship. She does need some leash training, but with patience and positive reinforcement, she’ll get the hang of it. A fenced yard would be ideal so she can run and play safely. Chewy has recently been diagnosed with chronic bronchitis and will need lifelong medication to keep her comfortable. But don’t worry—she’s still her happy, playful self, and she’s ready to bring joy to a forever home that will cherish her as much as she will cherish them. Are you ready for the most loving, snuggly, and devoted best friend? Chewy Gray is waiting for you! Story
Are you looking for a young dog or older puppy that's already trained? Then look no further because I am your guy! Hi! I'm Toffee Chip. I'm a 1 1/2-year-old lab mix weighing in at 51 pounds. I'm neutered and potty trained, and I sleep in my crate all night. But I don't need to be crated because I'm so well-behaved.   I have a sweet, loving, and cuddly personality. I know some basic commands, am obedient, and I want to please. I'm what you would call a Velcro dog because I LOVE my people and want to be with them.   I love playing with other dogs, chewing bones/toys, taking walks, playing catch, and going with you to run errands. My Foster mom says I'm FULL of personality!   I'm shy around strangers, so Mom says I have a touch of stranger danger. However, once I spend time with you, I settle right down. I like cats a little TOO much, so no cats for me; Oh, and I also chase squirrels!  Because I am a silly, clumsy, but solid puppy, I'm a little too rough for small children. Put in your application TODAY and come and meet me!     Check out my photo portfolio to see lots more photos of my handsome face: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjBECHr If you're interested in adopting me, Toffee Chip, please complete an online adoption application that you can fill out and submit online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms.  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Hops, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old, 53-pound Lab/Pittie mix who is ready to find his forever home! Hops adores people, especially women, but he’s a bit shy when meeting new faces, so he’ll need slow introductions to feel comfortable. Once he gets to know you, he’s an absolute joy and will shower you with love and loyalty. Hops gets especially excited when you come home, greeting you with enthusiasm at the door, though his enthusiasm and size won't work with small children. He’s also fully potty and crate-trained, and he listens well to commands like sit, down, and stay. While he gets along with his foster home's cat (he’s been trained to ignore them), a cat-free home would be ideal for him. Hops is an outdoor enthusiast who loves walks with just you and him and running freely in a fenced yard. So a fenced yard is a must. He prefers meeting new dogs off-leash and would thrive in a space where he can enjoy his favorite activity of chasing balls. When he’s in a calm, familiar setting, Hops is a laid-back, intuitive companion who knows just when to cuddle and when to give you space. Hops is ready to bring his loyal, loving nature into the right home. If you're looking for a well-behaved, sweet dog who enjoys both playtime and snuggling, Hops could be the perfect match for you!   * Additional pictures can be viewed on:  https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjAWaVx     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
My adoption fee is sponsored by a volunteer who loves me!   Crane is a sweet, energetic, 7-year-old, lab mix with his adoption fee sponsored! This handsome guy is housebroken and crate-trained. When taking a stroll on a leash, Crane can be excitable when meeting other dogs, and so, romping around in a fenced-in yard instead of in a dog park or doggy daycare is best for him.   Crane greets you with his warm brown eyes and floppy ears. This peppy pup loves people and would be a great addition to an active family that shares bunches of love, exercise, and stimulation. Young children are not the best fit for this lively fella.       For inquiries, email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online at http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.          January 15, 2025, 8:10 pm

Story
Meet Mandible, an adorable, 10-month-old, Lab/Golden Retriever mix with a gentle spirit and so much love to share! She’s a true Velcro dog who loves being close to her person and would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of companionship.    Mandible weighs 27 pounds and will likely end up around 35 pounds, making her the perfect “pocket Lab” size! She’s nearly potty trained and eager to please, making her a great candidate for continued training.    Mandible would do best in a home where she’s not left alone for long periods, as she loves being part of the action! She’d be very happy in a home with kids and/or other dogs (she’s a lady with everyone), but truth be told, she’ll likely give her whole heart to her one favorite person.    She didn’t get to experience much of life in her first home so everything seems a bit new right now, but she’s gaining confidence every day. She’s so excited to have a chance to enjoy living life WITH her new family!    If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Mandible is the perfect pup for you!
