Story
Nova is a very high energetic 4 month Labrador mix puppy. She is crate trained and learned a lot of basic commands. A few of the commands she knows is sit, stay, come, down, leave it, drop it, etc . She is current with all her puppy shots and just recently received her alteration surgery. So she is spayed. We got her from a foster family. They initiated crate training and the command of sit. So with all the command I have listed she has definitely picked it up she is a super smart pup! What I am looking for in a potential adopter, is first and for most Nova needs ample space. An enclosed backyard is what we want her environment to be. She is a large dog so that would fit her needs. She is most definitely an Indoor dog. Nova loves to fetch ball and play tug o war. Nova is a puppy so she needs a family who will give her attention and training. We thought we were her furever home, but unfortunately we can’t give her that. So that is what we want to give her!

Story
Wilma Gene or Wilma is a combination of an old lady and a puppy, and she is firm in this identity. While she enjoys her naps, and long stretches in the sun in nice, quiet rooms, she also enjoys zoomies, rope toys, and playfighting with anyone. Wilma is known to be sassy once she is comfortable, and will be vocal about certain subject matters. Wilma loves other dogs, is interested in other animals in general, but loves humans the most- where you are, is where she wants to be! Wilma is guessed to be going on 4 years old. We are rehoming Wilma simply because we have a new baby, no longer have the time or work schedules, and she is beginning to be a bit neglected, and appears depressed.

FREE AND DISCOUNTED ADOPTIONS FOR ADOPTERS WITH VET REFERENCES!  This offer is available until further notice. Buck is available through our Homebuddies program. He is located at out Temple, Ga adoption center.  Buck is a bonded pair with his sister, Izzy. They have to be adopted together.  Buck will require a single family home and a fence suitable for free run exercise for a young, active dog.  An apartment, condo or congested home setting would be very stressful for Buck.  He will require an adopter willing to be very careful with him as he could be a flight risk if scared and adopter is not diligent with gates, doors and training.  He will also require patience on the part of his adopter and any visitors because he is very timid upon meeting new people.  He has come a long way since arriving at our shelter.  We are pleased with his progress and want to give him the best chance possible to succeed going forward. Size: Medium DOB: 2019 Health: Healthy Behavior: Puppy like Behavior Playfulness: High Affectionate:  Can be, he has to get to know you  Calm: Can be after playing High Energy:  Yes Dog Friendly: Yes with his sister, Izzy Cat Friendly: No Toddler/Baby Appropriate: No Child Appropriate: Little Buck is nervous around children Good for first time dog owners: No  Fetches:  Yes Swims: No Buck and his sister were found on a rural dirt road by some good Samaritans who took care of them until they could come into our rescue program. They seem to be petite lab mixes. They are fearful of new people and children but will warm up with treats and pets! Buck is such a sweet little guy, he is so gentle! He's a little smaller than his sister but just as active. He will nudge your hand for pets and try to climb in your lap after he gets to know you. Buck and Izzy would do best as the only animals in the household. Buck would love to be your new buddy!
