Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Logan has been with Castoff Pet Rescue since April 2019 — over 6 years — without a single application. Not one. And we truly don’t understand why. He may be a big, dark-coated dog who doesn’t stand out in photos, and has waited a long time to be someone’s only (selective with other dogs), but Logan is pure gold. He gives the best kisses, proudly parades his Kong like a trophy, and has the perfect mix of goofy fun and old-soul loyalty. Logan is 8 years old, 55 lbs, fully housetrained and crate-trained, and a graduate of a prison training program. He knows sit, down, heel, place, and leave it — and walks great on leash. Best home for Logan: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Kids 13+ &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 No cats or small animals &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Fenced yard preferred &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Possible female dog (meet required) &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Someone ready to finally choose him Vetted & ready: Neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention. Questions? castoffalph@gmail.com Apply: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Logan has waited long enough. Please help us give him the home he deserves.  To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Excellent family member, good with cats, dogs and kids. Rory is a loyal and affectionate companion.  She doesn't know a stranger and wants to befriend everyone.  She is good with dogs, cats and kids.  She's losing her family because of the economy but maybe she's just ready to start a new chapter with your family? She is active and enjoys being outside going on walks, runs or hiking.  Would thrive with a backyard and kids to run around with.  A yard isn't necessary if she can just get daily walks or runs in with you. Age: 7 years Weight: 50 Temperament: Gets along with dogs, kids and cats Training: Housetrained, crate trained, good on leash Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention. Story
Please contact Marta (ultramarta@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Hazel – 2 years old | ~50 lbs Hazel is a resilient, gentle girl who has blossomed after a very difficult start in life. Now safe and thriving, she’s ready for a forever home where she can continue to grow at her own pace and feel deeply secure with her people. Quick facts: 2 years old, ~50 lbs Spayed, microchipped Housebroken & crate trained Up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative Good with dogs (can live with a compatible dog or as an only dog) Good with kids Not good with cats Hazel is medium-energy and enjoys daily walks, backyard play, and then settling in close to her humans. She’s leash-trained, food-motivated, and knows basics like sit, wait, and “get in.” She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and is generally calm and well-mannered at home. She can be shy with new people and needs a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’s affectionate, loyal, and happiest just being near you—whether you’re working, relaxing, or watching TV. A fenced yard would be a bonus for her zoomies and ball-chasing, but she can also do well with regular walks and routine activity. Hazel thrives most of all with patient, loving people who let her move at her own pace. To learn more, please contact Marta at ultramarta@gmail.com To ensure the best match for pets and adopters, we ask that you complete an Adoption Application at www.doggieharmony.org (click “Forms”). Once approved, we’ll arrange a home visit with the pet. As a donation-funded rescue, an adoption fee is requested to help cover basic veterinary care.April 21, 2026, 7:00 am

Story
Excellent family dogMeet Sadie – Proof That Age Is Just a Number  Sadie may have a little gray on her muzzle, but don’t let that fool you—this 10-year-young, 60-lb girl still has the heart and energy of a pup half her age! She loves to run, play, and be part of the action, making her a wonderful match for an active family. One of Sadie’s greatest talents? Snuggling. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you and soak up all the love. She’s also a dream house guest: fully house-trained, crate-trained, and trustworthy enough to be left alone uncrated—no destruction, no drama. Sadie adores kids and adults and gets along well with other dogs (though she’d do best without tiny dogs—she’s a little too enthusiastic and might accidentally step on them!). Sadie at a Glance: Age: 10 years Weight: 60 lbs Temperament: Fantastic with kids, adults, and most dogs Training: House-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who’s past the puppy chaos but still full of life, Sadie could be your perfect match! Questions? Email amy@doggieharmony.org *** To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.doggieharmony.org/forms) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.adoption within 1.5 hours of Auburn GA Webster is the life of the party. He loves all dogs big, medium and small. He wants to Play, play, play! He will relax, but he has energy and best for an active person or family. He does love kids! His ideal home would have another playful dog, fenced yard, etc. He will dig outside if not supervised. He walks ok on a leash after a few minutes of correction. He will pull if he sees a dog(not aggression-he wants to meet) He will need strong handler and reinforcement. He loves kids, but he is a big boy, so I would just caution anyone with tiny toddlers. I don't think he would ever hurt intentionally, but due to his size and knocking them over. Age:  3.5 years Weight: 72 lbs Temperament: Gets along with older sturdy kids, loves dogs. Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, knows commands Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm treatment underway and paid for.
