Story
We adopted Pal from our local shelter when he was about a year old, almost 7 years ago now. Pal grew up with our two daughters, a "brother dog," and a "sister cat." He's super sweet-natured and gentle. Pal is overnight crate-trained (never barks or soils his crate,) and his nice metal crate can come with him. Pal's calm, but he still loves to run and to play. Above all else, Pal loves the water... We have an old family cabin on the lake, and the minute we get there he heads straight for the water; when our family is out swimming, he'll come out with us and just swim circles near us as long as we're in the water. Now, our daughters are both going off to college, and my husband is retiring. My husband and I are planning on moving in July, and we will not be able to take Pal with us. If you think you might be able to be Pal's new family, please let us know... Thank you and God bless!

Story
Name: Xedo Age: 5 Breed (if known): white belly lab Background I was originally rescued from a shelter at 6 months. Since then, I’ve been loved and cared for, and now I’m ready to find a new forever home where I can thrive. As for my Personality, if I had to be described in a few words, I’d say I’m gentle, very loving & loyal, energetic, happy. I have my own unique charm and quirks, and I’m the kind of dog who brings warmth and joy wherever I go. My ideal home would be one that offers privacy like a fenced yard, a calm environment, someone active, a family with kids, a patient adopter who enjoys walks. I’m hoping for a family who will give me love, structure, and the chance to be part of their daily life. I’m the kind of companion who will cuddle with you on the couch in exchange for nice belly rubs. I will protect you by being your private bodyguard following you wherever you need and don’t need me, lol. Can’t wait to meet you and start a new adventure.

Story
Meet Dixie! Dixie is an approximately 1½-year-old female Lab mix with a heart as big as her long, lanky legs. Weighing about 50 pounds, she’s built for fun—whether that’s running in the yard, going for adventures, or simply being close to her favorite people. Dixie is spayed and incredibly sweet, affectionate, and gentle. She’s wonderful with kids and gets along well with other dogs, making her a great addition to a family. She truly loves being around people and thrives when she’s included in everyday life. Although Dixie has spent most of her time as an outdoor dog, she would much prefer to live inside with her family where she can soak up attention and love. She’s a smart girl who will benefit from continued training and structure as she settles into home life. With a little guidance and consistency, Dixie has all the makings of a loyal, loving companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, happy dog who’s ready to be part of the family, Dixie may be your girl. ##2678395##

Story
Piper says hello!! Piper is a sweet and loving Labrador\Spaniel mix and is almost 4 years old. She is very kind and loves to fetch and bring toys to play tug-of-war with you! She is a great snuggler and has an oversized heart for all people and animals. She has been my son's dog for most of her life, but he has recently been deployed with the Army National Guard. He will be gone for another year and when he returns, he will be moving into a smaller apartment. Piper has been living with me in my own apartment recently, but I have been affected by Guillain Barre Syndrome for a few years and dealing with nerve damage, making it difficult to take care of her. While heartbreaking, my son and I agree that finding loving people with a loving home to take Piper into their family, would be the best quality of life we could give her. Piper loves to run and play in the sunshine, as well as quiet movie nights snuggled up against you. She would love to be someone's new best friend!!

Story
This is Sam, a 7 year old German Short-haired Pointer with a lil' pit in him, and we are looking to rehome him swiftly. My mom's health has been declining, and we are moving within the month (everything came up very, very quickly). He really needs a home where he can be taken better care of and to be able to be given more attention. Now he does come with some...difficulties. He failed training when he took it when my parents got him when he was 2 years old, and it was never attempted again. He tears things up. He bolts outside if he gets the chance. He grabs unattended food. He either hates or loves other dogs. He barks at people and charges when he is on a lead (I think it is a protective thing), but if he is off his lead he can be super friendly. He can be very sweet though. He enjoys playing, running, and sometimes forgets he isn't a tiny dog. Also, he may have some sensory issues with seeing, reacting, and smelling.
