Story
COURTESY POST- Hi there! I'm Bahament, a lively and goofy girl who's full of fun! I've got a knack for making people laugh with my silly antics and smart tricks. I'm also quite the social butterfly and I've even made a best friend here - a cat! We get along like peas in a pod. Car rides? I love them! Fetch? It's my favorite game! I'm eager to please and always ready for a new adventure. Adopting me means endless laughter, a loyal companion, and a playful spirit to brighten your days. I can't wait to meet my forever family! 'Courtesy Post' This is not a Street Paws animal, but we are assisting a family with placing their pet. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA. Certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at https://form.jotform.com/232355976148163 This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, have been heartworm tested, dewormed, have received flea prevention, and are micro-chipped. We will ensure the microchip is registered. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.October 7, 2024, 11:17 am

Story
Jazer is a big ole boy!  He's a little hard to photograph because he's just too busy sniffing and exploring. We are learning more about Jazer daily, but so far this muscular boy seems very sweet, oblivious of his size and gently takes treats from his humans. To Foster or Adopt Jazer, please apply at www.buttsmutts.com.  ##1959896##

Story
“I just love the wrinkles on your face!” - said no one ever about me, but THIS girl… oh my heart! Look at this smushy face baby! COOKIE is 5 or 6 months old and is a very shy girl. She was terrified in the shelter, curled into a ball facing the wall, trembling. After just a few weeks of TLC from a foster mom who adores her,  COOKIE has become brave enough to take long leash walks with her foster sister pups. She loves rolling in the dry grass and politely lets you know when it’s time for a belly rub.  She is very affectionate and loves for you to scratch her ears and wrinkles.  COOKIE needs a loving family who can patiently allow her to blossom Each day she becomes braver and tries new things that scare her. We are so proud of the progress she’s making and think it would be best if she starts attaching herself to her forever person instead of being so dependent on her foster mom for comfort and courage.  COOKIE gets along well with other dogs and would love another pup to play with. She might do best with a confident mature dog who can show her the ropes.  COOKIE will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated after this week and ready for her new home. Be aware that her foster mom will be VERY picky deciding which lucky family gets this gem. COOKIE is very loved   To Adopt COOKIE, please apply at www.buttsmutts.com. ##1968752##

Story
Shy and Sweet Hero is looking for his own hero! ***Foster or Foster-to-Adopter until vetting is complete*** – 3 years old – 52 pounds – Superholder with potty business – Easy on a leash – Lower energy and mellow – Shy, but so very sweet once he warms up Home Preferences: Hero prefers to have you all to himself, so he is looking for a home without other animals. He would be best suited for a home without young children due to his shy and timid nature. Hero found himself on death row at a local animal control shelter due to overcrowding. He must have gotten word of that, because he soon after escaped from staff! Rescue humans were thankfully able to track him down and recover him safely. Hero is heartworm positive and will soon begin treatment. This involves 2 vet trips spaced one month apart (we can help with transport if needed), and he will be on restricted activity during that time. Other than that, treatment is easy peasy for humans! No special requirements or care involved. He just has to take it easy for two months and then he will be done. We cover all costs and supplies while in foster or foster-to-adopt. This means vet bills, prevention medications, food, crate, and so on. We cover it all! Hero is a very sweet boy who just needs a little patience as he blossoms and builds confidence. Can you foster Hero? He could also be foster-to-adopted (fostering with the intentions of adopting once vetting is complete). Please complete an application today if you have the room and heart to help Hero blossom: joyspromise.org/foster
