Story
Pilar is a beautiful Labrador/Husky mix who will turn two years old in June, and she is truly one of a kind. She has a joyful, playful spirit and a naturally loyal heart that makes her an incredible companion. Pilar thrives in open spaces where she can run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. She’s happiest when she has room to stretch her legs, chase a ball, or simply feel the breeze while she plays. She doesnt require much beyond her basic needs and a safe environment where she can be active. Pilar bonds deeply once she feels comfortable, and she appreciates patience and gentle introductions, especially when meeting new dogs. With the right family, she will blossom into the most devoted, loving friend. I will be relocating in June for a job in North Carolina , and unfortunately I wont be able to provide the space she needs to live her best life. My hope is to find her a home where she can continue to thrive, stay active, and be surrounded by people who appreciate her sweet nature! ❤

Story
Harley is a great dog! She’s friendly with children and all people. She has puppy energy even though she’s 5yrs old. Harley does cause us allergies especially our newest addition to the family. Her pet dander and a new baby makes it difficult. Harley loves her pig ear and other chews. Loves to play fetch and chase balls. A car ride or walk in neighborhood is her favorite. She does well at dog parks and pet daycares.

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Looses his home 3.31 Max was adopted as a 4 month old rescue pup, and his adoptive family offered him a big back yard, training and so much love and care.  But a couple of years ago his adoptive father passed  and mom was forced to move to an apartment in an urban area.   For 2 years now, his mom has tried really hard to help him and his sister, Maizy, adapt to a new life but it's very restrictive and just not what he grew up with and it's hard for his mom to manage Max and his sister alone and work all day. Max loves the outdoors and would love a yard again or a chance to go on hikes or long walks.    He would love to have a home where someone is there for companionship each day or even doggie daycare. He is such laid back , sweet dog, obsessed with catching balls/toys and having activity with his family. He would love a comfy bed of his own or will sleep peacefully at the foot of your bed! The stress of apartment living and  mom having to be gone for work has not left him  the opportunity to socialize with others and that would help him so much.  He is currently on medication for his stress and it works but it's not an ideal life. In the end, apartment management wants Max and his sister Maizy to leave by the end of the month.  He's such an excellent family dog, we'd like for him to be able to have. that life again. Age: 8 years Weight:  62 lbs Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, older respectful kids, all adults Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, has basic training,  No, sit, take your pill, lay down, crate, go find your toy, heel (loosely) Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and on prevention Email for questions:    http://aeribera@hotmail.com To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet.Logan has been with Castoff Pet Rescue since April 2019 — over 6 years — without a single application. Not one. And we truly don’t understand why. He may be a big, dark-coated dog who doesn’t stand out in photos, and has waited a long time to be someone’s only (selective with other dogs), but Logan is pure gold. He gives the best kisses, proudly parades his Kong like a trophy, and has the perfect mix of goofy fun and old-soul loyalty. Logan is 8 years old, 55 lbs, fully housetrained and crate-trained, and a graduate of a prison training program. He knows sit, down, heel, place, and leave it — and walks great on leash. Best home for Logan: &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Kids 13+ &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 No cats or small animals &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Fenced yard preferred &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Possible female dog (meet required) &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Someone ready to finally choose him Vetted & ready: Neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, on prevention. Questions? castoffalph@gmail.com Apply: www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption Logan has waited long enough. Story
Please contact Marta (ultramarta@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Hazel's journey to find her forever home has been one of resilience and love. This beautiful girl had a tragic start when, at just a few weeks old, she and her siblings became part of a court case in which their owners were charged with severe abuse and neglect. In April 2023, Hazel and two of her siblings came into my care as foster babies. Since then, she has blossomed in a happy and safe environment, surrounded by her brother and sister. Hazel is 2 years old, weighs approximately 50 pounds and has been spayed. She is up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. She is crate trained & housebroken.  Hazel is an obedient girl and she knows basic commands such as Sit, Wait, Treat, Walk and Get In. She sleeps 8 hours a night in her crate and never makes a peep. She plays well with her canine siblings and other dogs she knows.  She has medium energy, walks well on a leash and loves to take walks around the neighborhood. Hazel loves people that she knows, but she needs time to warm up to new people. She is a timid girl and likes to take things slowly. She is food motivated which makes her easier to train. She loves to chase squirrels, so a watchful eye is needed. She has never been tested with cats. She would love a fenced backyard because she loves to run and play with the ball. If she runs in the yard for 10-15 mins then she’ll curl up and sleep.  If she doesn’t have a yard, she would do fine with a couple 1.5-2 mile walks per day with additional pee breaks throughout the day. Hazel would thrive as an only dog or with a compatible canine companion.  Her main need is for loving people.  She loves to sit close to you while you’re working or watching TV. Hazel has shown incredible strength despite her difficult beginnings. She deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy and love to a new person or family.March 7, 2026, 5:36 pm
