TRIPP is a 10 month old Labrador mix who was surrendered by his owner who was unable to care for him. TRIPP's coat is super shiny and his caramel puppy eyes are just precious. He's full of puppy energy but settles for treats and seeks his human's approval. TRIPP loves older children and other dogs. We're not sure if he's ever met a cat. This young boy is housetrained and looking for his forever home!  To apply for TRIPP, visit www.buttsmutts.com.  ##1952283##

Jazer is a big ole boy!  He's a little hard to photograph because he's just too busy sniffing and exploring. We are learning more about Jazer daily, but so far this muscular boy seems very sweet, oblivious of his size and gently takes treats from his humans. Story
“I just love the wrinkles on your face!” - said no one ever about me, but THIS girl… oh my heart! Look at this smushy face baby! COOKIE is 5 or 6 months old and is a very shy girl. She was terrified in the shelter, curled into a ball facing the wall, trembling. After just a few weeks of TLC from a foster mom who adores her,  COOKIE has become brave enough to take long leash walks with her foster sister pups. She loves rolling in the dry grass and politely lets you know when it’s time for a belly rub.  She is very affectionate and loves for you to scratch her ears and wrinkles.  COOKIE needs a loving family who can patiently allow her to blossom Each day she becomes braver and tries new things that scare her. We are so proud of the progress she’s making and think it would be best if she starts attaching herself to her forever person instead of being so dependent on her foster mom for comfort and courage.  COOKIE gets along well with other dogs and would love another pup to play with. She might do best with a confident mature dog who can show her the ropes.  COOKIE will be spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated after this week and ready for her new home. Be aware that her foster mom will be VERY picky deciding which lucky family gets this gem. COOKIE is very loved   To Adopt COOKIE, please apply at www.buttsmutts.com. ##1968752##

Story
All Southern Crescent Canine Rescue pets are spayed or neutered, all vaccinations are up to date, heartworm negative, and microchipped. We suggest follow-up intestinal worming two weeks after adoption.  We require monthly heartworm preventive after adoption!Hazel is a beautiful Lab mix, about a year old, 50 pounds.  She loves playing with other dogs, and tennis balls are her favorite toy.  She is quiet and intelligent, but still a bit of a goof.  She is very devoted to her family, and loves attention. Loves, loves cushy beds and lounging.  Very affectionate, and will nudge your hand for attention.  She is housebroken, crate-trained, and easy on the leash.  This lovely lady is a perfect family pet, and really perfect in every way!  Here's a beautiful dog with her training and manners in place.  Worthy of your consideration!                                   'We Are Rescue' Until you have held a tiny puppy in your arms as it kissed your face with slobbery puppy breath and felt the love, Until you have held an injured or severely ill dog in your arms and felt their pain, Until you have looked into the eyes of a tired aging senior dog and felt their wisdom, And until you have seen and understood the look in your dogs eyes that tell you their time on earth with you is over .... and you humanely let them go, You will never understand the life of a rescuer. We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places and the otherwise homely faces. It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror, sadness and defeat and find the true soul that lies within. Story
Georgia is a sweet girl who absolutely loves to be loved on and her belly rubbed. She is an Indoor dog. Her last owners left her crated outside and abandoned her so she does not like to be left alone outside if at all possible. She loves treats and chew toys that are tough for super chewers. She is completely house trained. A fenced in yard will be best for her until she gets used to her surroundings. She is a cuddle bug and needs someone who will spoil her and love her like part of the family. We rescued her about 8 months ago from a bad situation however we already have 2 other large dogs one over 100lbs, that are inside dogs and my house is just too small for them all. I have her crate that will go with her as well
