Story
Angel is a beautiful 9-year-old black Lab with the softest eyes and the sweetest heart. True to her name, she is a loving, affectionate girl who bonds deeply with her people and just wants to feel safe and cherished. Angel would thrive in a calm, patient home with someone who is around often and able to spend quality time with her. She does best in a quieter environment where routines are predictable and she can relax, decompress, and build trust at her own pace. Once she feels secure, Angel shows just how loving and devoted she can be. We are looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for Angel. Starting as a foster gives her the chance to settle in gently and allows her future family to truly get to know her, with the option to adopt when everyone feels ready. More than anything, Angel’s greatest need is a person or family with the time, patience, and compassion to help her feel safe and loved. If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $200 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.   IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 31, 2026, 5:28 pm

Story
Percy is a handsome Flat-Coated Retriever mix born in August 2025 with a heart as sweet as his soulful brown eyes. Currently being fostered at Hounds Town Doggy Daycare in Aurora, Percy has quickly become a favorite thanks to his gentle personality, playful spirit, and easygoing nature . Percy is only about 40 pounds, so a wonderful medium-sized dog too. Percy is the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere he goes. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves meeting new people, making him a great fit for a family, active couple, or anyone looking for a loyal best friend. Whether he’s playing with his daycare buddies, soaking up attention from staff, or quietly sitting by your side, Percy is happiest just being part of the action. He’s still a young pup, so he’s eager to continue learning and growing with a family who will give him plenty of love, structure, and adventures. With his affectionate personality and happy-go-lucky attitude, Percy has all the makings of an amazing lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a friendly, social, and lovable pup to add to your family, Percy may be your perfect match. ❤️   The adoption fee of $450 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Story
Domino is a happy, playful 1-year-old hound/lab mix who’s ready to bring a whole lot of joy to his future family. Weighing about 55 pounds, he’s the perfect size for both adventures and couch cuddles. Domino is incredibly social, sweet, and smart. He loves being around people and thrives on interaction and play. He gets along beautifully with other dogs and even does well with cats, making him a wonderful addition to a multi-pet household. Because of his age and energy level, Domino would do best with an active family who’s excited to include him in their daily lives — whether that’s walks, hikes, outings, or playtime in the yard. He’s eager to learn, ready to bond, and would love a family who enjoys staying on the move. Artemis is a sweet mixed-breed puppy with an approximate DOB in early February 2026 and a personality that’s just as lovely as her name. Once her exploring is done, Artemis happily switches into cuddle mode. She loves being held and will melt right into your arms, soaking up every bit of affection. Her temperament is a wonderful balance of playful puppy energy and calm, snuggly sweetness. Artemis would thrive in a home that enjoys engaging with a curious puppy while also offering plenty of love, comfort, and quality time together.
