Story
Unfortunatly one of Scout's humans passed and the need has occured to rehome. Scout is a loving, quirky guy. This sweet pup has been through more than most, and it’s shaped him into a sensitive, thoughtful dog who feels things deeply. Because of his past, he can be anxious in new situations and needs a little time to feel safe. But once he knows he’s okay—once trust is built—his true heart shines.  He knows sit, stay, leave it, shake (both paws) and speak   He is incredibly loving, loyal, and eager to connect with his person. When he’s comfortable, he leans in for affection, soaks up gentle attention, and forms strong bonds with those who treat him with patience and kindness. He thrives in calm environments and does best with someone who understands that love sometimes grows slowly—but beautifully. -He has only been around very few dogs but does not do well with high energy dogs but seems to do well with seniors (my sisters dog is an older white lab and they do well together). He is not a dog park dog, he needs to be properly introduced and get familiar with a dog before being around them comfortably   At his core he is scared of new things, especially new dogs and may bark at them. He is potty trained and will dance in circles if you ask him if he needs to go potty   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. She is amazing with kids she does like to playfully set your hand in mouth but she's learing been working on that. She also is great with dogs of all sizes at parks she is so playful loves to run especially with buddies. Good with cats and is potty trained. She lets you know that she needs to go potty by any door (if she’s stuck in a room she will go to the door and stare and sometimes give a little whine). She is also crate trained (even though we only put her in there when we leave during the day and some nights) she does like to cuddle in bed though that is for sure! She's is just a goofy girl! She would be the perfect family dog with or without pets! She loves the kids a lot loves their energy! She loves learning and she catches on quickly! She knows how to sit, lay down, and we are working on the paw but she gets confused and puts both of her paws on my shoulders lol she really is a silly fun girl.  The adoption fee for puppies under 6 months of age is $265. If the puppy is too young or small to be fixed there will be a $75 spay/neuter rebate form provided. Story
JT is a 10 year old lab pit mix who was rescued in the summer of 2016 extremely malnourished.  He has lived in adult only homes until a few years ago.  He now has two young skin siblings and a 6 year old Golden Retriever Brother. He is incredibly sweet and loving and has never had any violent incidents, and has never bitten anyone, until a recent incident occurred.  The two youngsters were playing and dancing around the dogs and when the older one was trying to get him to move, she hit him on the behind (he's always been sensitive on his back end) and he snapped at her and bit her below the eye. He was instantly remorseful and knew what he did was wrong. The owner said that she truly believes that he wouldn’t do it again and that it is completely out of character, but can’t take that chance with young kids, knowing that they don’t understand boundaries with pets.  We would love to find him a family without young children.    If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application.
