hello everyone, this is cali and she is 9 years old. we are not completely sure of her breed but she looks to be a mix with a lab. my baby does not like other animals due to her past abuse from an old owner, but she is wonderful with children of all ages and people in general. she loves cuddles, sleeping, treats, and loves to be under a blanket (will tap you with her paw to let you know lol) and loves to be on top of pillows. please help my baby girl. we are so heartbroken to have to let her go, but for personal circumstances we have no choice. please please please help my sweet angel.

Story
Meet Ophelia (or Opie, as we call her)! Ophelia is a 6 month old, 34-lb Lab Mix who loves cuddles, naps, and being close to her people. She’s adapted to foster life and ready to find her forever home! Ophelia's superpowers include being smart and food motivated (which makes training a breeze), getting along great with our other dogs, and responding beautifully to commands like “no” and “stop.” She came to us two weeks ago as an unwanted puppy mill puppy, timid at first, but growing more curious and playful every day. She sleeps through the night in her crate like a champion and naps quietly in her playpen during the workday, mastering the work-from-home rhythm right alongside us. In terms of house training, Ophelia is close to fully housebroken and now trots herself down to the yard when nature calls. She’s still working on being okay when left alone, it can be a little rough at first, but she’s making real progress. Some of her favorite things are hard chew toys (Nylabones especially), long afternoon naps, chasing our other dogs around the yard, and snuggling up close for cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal, food-motivated pup who’ll fit easily into your daily rhythm and reward you with full cuddle-bug energy, Ophelia might be your perfect match. Ophelia is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $300.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Meet Atlas! 🐾 Atlas is a handsome 6.5-month-old Lab mix weighing in at 43 pounds of pure puppy love! This sweet boy has a gentle, affectionate personality and absolutely adores his people. Whether he’s following you around the house, soaking up attention, or curling up in your lap after a fun-filled day, Atlas just wants to be part of the family. Like any young pup, Atlas loves to play! He enjoys tossing around his toys, chewing on his favorite bones, and going for walks to explore the world around him. He’s still figuring out the whole “fetch” thing, but he’s eager to learn and catches on quickly. Atlas is smart, food-motivated, and already picking up basic commands like a champ. While peanut butter isn’t really his thing, offer him some cheese or a crunchy ice cube and you’ll have a best friend for life! Atlas is currently working on leash manners and potty training and is making great progress every day. He seems interested in making friends with other dogs, cats, and children when introduced properly, so he could do well in many different types of homes. This lovable pup is looking for a family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s destined to be. In return, Atlas promises endless love, goofy puppy antics, and lots of cuddles. Atlas is being fostered in Cincinnati, Ohio. His adoption fee is $300. Story
I’m a happy-go-lucky boy looking for someone to share snacks, snuggles, and adventures with. I love all the classic Lab things: long walks, playing with toys, soaking up attention, and cuddling up close after a fun day. I’m friendly, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile, whether we’re out exploring or just relaxing together on the couch. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who’s equal parts playful and loving, I think we’d get along perfectly.

Story
I`m a sweet, affectionate girl who believes life is better with belly rubs and good company. I love being around people and will happily soak up all the attention you`re willing to give (and maybe a little more). My hobbies include wagging my tail like crazy when I see you, following you around the house like your loyal sidekick, and dreaming about my favorite snack... hot dogs. If you`ve got treats, cuddles, and a soft spot for a loving pup, we`ll get along just fine.
