Meet Downey! Downey is a gorgeous mixed breed dog, weighing around 35 pounds at about 3 and a half years old. While she is shy at first, once she warms up she loves snuggles and being with her furry friends. She is fostered with large and small dogs of both genders and gets along with all! She is respectful of the ones who want their space and plays with the ones who are willing! She isn't quite sure what dog toys are, but is learning! She is potty trained and learning to walk on a leash. She is nervous and loud movements scare her, so a home with older kids would be best. She does well in a crate or room while her foster mom goes to work! Downey came in with serious ear infections and some allergy-related medical issues. Darko is a one year old, 56lb lab mix and loves everyone! He just might be the happiest dog we've ever met. He is always smiling, loves to eat, loves to play, and loves to cuddle. Darko is potty trained and crate trained, he does well walking on a leash and likes to be gently pressed against your leg at all times. He does jump when he gets excited but is quickly learning the "down" command. His absolute favorite thing to do is run around in the yard fetching tennis balls. Welcome the Shakespeare pups 💕 Lab mix, born 12/3/22 These pups were born to a stray momma. Mom appeared to be a Lab mix. The pups also look like there could be some hound in rhere. Who knows!! Did I mention that I LOVE playing in water? Whether it be a swim in the river, a kayak float on the lake or a run through the sprinklers, H2O is my favorite element. My Mama was a beautiful Aussie mix and it appears that my Papa was a Labrador retriever!! My black, shiny coat is sleek, extremely short and low maintenance and shedding!! I am great with other dogs...I am just a very companionable dog!! I do need to make a confession; I am terrified of going to the vet!! Foster Mum doesn't know what happened that could make me so afraid of those in the medical profession, but our current vet comes out to the house. No scary trips to the vet for me!! I still have the energy for adventures like going on neighborhood strolls, nature hikes, camping trips, river excursions or just a trip into town on an errand run but also love the cuddle time on the couch with my people.
