Story
Introducing Cormac, a handsome two-year-old black lab on a journey to find his forever home. Rescued from a puppy mill, Cormac's journey has been one of resilience and hope, and he's now ready to embark on a new chapter filled with love and companionship.
Weighing in at 55 pounds, Cormac boasts a striking black lab coat that's as beautiful as his gentle soul. Despite his difficult past, Cormac exudes a calm and loving demeanor, making him an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loyal four-legged friend.
Cormac is a true people-pleaser who delights in the company of his humans. He's quick to seek out his person, often sitting quietly in front of them, patiently awaiting affection and attention. His favorite spot for pets? Right on top of his head, where he relishes in the warmth of human touch.
Cormac is not only a wonderful companion to humans but also gets along famously with his fellow furry friends. He is great with dogs of all shapes and sizes, showcasing his friendly and sociable nature. Cormac's easy-going demeanor and gentle spirit makes him a beloved member of any pack. If you already have furry companions at home, Cormac would be the perfect addition to your family, bringing joy and camaraderie to both humans and dogs alike.
Cormac is making great strides in his training, excelling in both potty training and crate training. He's mastered the art of keeping his crate clean and walks decently on the leash, showing promise in his willingness to learn and adapt.
As Cormac eagerly awaits his forever family, he's seeking a loving adopter who will cherish him for the loyal and devoted companion that he is. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special boy, be prepared to be rewarded with a lifetime of love, loyalty, and cherished memories. Adopting Cormac means welcoming a faithful friend who will stand by your side through thick and thin, bringing endless joy and companionship into your life.
Cormac is fostered in the Cincinnati area. His adoption fee is $275.00.
To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt
All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.
We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
