Story

Jake is a sweet boy that loves to be with people. Don't worry about leaving him home while you work. He loves his crate and is happy to veg until you get home. He is a friendly dog the likes everyone- just not the scary gurgling water bowl :) He is 7 years old- past the puppy stage but still playful. He has energy for adventures but is happy to snuggle and take a nap. He was adopted by my father in 2017 but his health took a turn shortly after. Jake came to live with us until a family could be found for him. My father has since passed away. In the last 6 months, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and the other dog tore her ACL requiring lots of rest. It has just become overwhelming for me. He gets along well with our other dog, cats and kids. We have a fence but previously did not and it was no issue. If your idea of a good weekend is watching animal planet, checking out the dog park, stopping for ice cream or howling along with sirens, then Jake is your guy!

Meet Goliath! Goliath is your typical lab; social, smart and a bit of a goofball. He has never heard the term stranger danger. He loves everyone he meets immediately and assumes they will love him too.  Same holds true for other dogs - loves, loves, loves other dogs. A canine sibling is really high on his wish list for his new forever home, but he would prefer a feline free home (maybe more accurately the cats would prefer a Goliath free home - LOL!) He is very treat motivated so training should be a snap.  He already walks pretty well on leash, rides nicely in the car and is housebroken and crate trained.   This social butterfly would make a great walking or hiking partner, but beware he is going to want to greet everybody he sees.  He's also a great co-worker if you work from home.  He'll happily curl up under the desk (and snore) while you’re on zoom calls.  And at the end of a busy work day he loves nothing more than to curl up on the couch next to his person and watch some TV. Please meet Celeste! I am a very friendly and loving 9 month old lab mix who is wanting to be someone's best friend! I love to cuddle on the couch and be next to you to keep you warm and safe. I love to chew on bones and play with the other 2 dogs in the house. We have so much fun chasing each other around the house! I kind of want to play with the little fuzzy cats in the house but they don’t like me too much, so I keep my distance from them. I love going on walks and I am really good at walking right beside my human. I also like to just lay in the sun on the warm grass. I learned really quickly how to sit and shake my paw, and I love almost any kind of treat! At nighttime, I sleep in my crate and don’t make a sound, as long as I have a nice soft blanket to lay on.
