GEMINI is a stunning small lab mix boy looking for a home. He's a teenages, 8-10 months old, playful, silly and friendly. We're not sure about the "mix" part, but he's much smaller than lab pups at this age. He's basically a Heinz 57 varieties-type mixes with a labby face. Gemini is currently 27 pounds. He's probably close to fully grown, he should be a nice medium-sized adult dog. Gemini is full of typical puppy shenanigans, he loves to run and romp in the yard. He is best suited to a home where he will have a playful dog sibling and a physically-fenced yard. Gemini loves toys and playtime. Like all puppies, Gemini needs a home with an adopter willing to spend some time training him to become a well-mannered family member. If you'd like to meet Gemini, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Gemini at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 1130am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. These guys are tough to tell apart, Gemini has a little bit of white on his chest. Other than that, they're basically twins. Gemini has a higher play motor than his brother. They love to run and romp in the yard. Each is best suited to a home where they will have a playful dog sibling and a physically-fenced yard. Gemini and Galaxy love toys and playtime. This is Spydr, who got her name from the way her 3-year-old human kid friend thought the patterns on her back looked like a spider`s web! She was adopted from us as a little puppy, was well taken care of, and even was taken to obedience classes; however, she has so much energy, and no amount of intervention seemed to satiate any of that, so now she`s now back with us to get her in a home that can match her speed! She is a big fan of going for several walks, getting to run around, and meeting new people and animals. She gets along very well with other dogs, though it`s best if she pairs up with dogs that can match her high energy play. She also loves children and does well with them, though it`s best to supervise small children, as her forms of love can topple them over (she means well)! Spyder is a wonderful sweetheart of a dog who will do best in a home that continues to take her to obedience classes, and continue working on the skills she`s acquired. It will also help significantly to have plenty of space, time, and companionship to help her redirect her energy into something healthy, as she is still young and learning how to manage that endless excitement for life. She may need a refresher on proper house breaking too, since the pet shelter has a much different set up to the one in a typical home, though she is very smart and will pick up on this quickly.
