Story
Hello everyone! My name is Mars bars and I'm approx. 3 years old and full of energy. I love playing with squeaky toys and chasing the ball for hours! I'm an expert at sit and shake. I love going for walks and meeting anyone who will give me attention.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 7, 2026, 9:24 am

Story
Hi I'm Tzatziki! My foster parents say I'm a pretty laid back and easy older guy, and at around 8 years old I'd say I'm as cool as a cucumber. I don't require much;  1. The ocassional walk, or at least a yard that I can complete my exercise routine- a maximum of 3 zoomie laps a day (followed by a nap in the sun) 2. A couch or bed big enough that I can sprawl out on for the majority of the day (I'm around 70 lbs) 3. Food- and I'm not picky. I will gladly help you taste test just about anything that is dog- safe I'm very good in my crate and am generally content to nap or chew on a toy. I do well with most dogs but like to be the only "alpha dog" in the pack, so with a passive group I can coexist well. I'd also be just fine as an only dog, just no cats or small animals please. So if you're looking for a not-so-needy older guy who still has enough pep in his step to be goofy and give you a good laugh, but also loves a lazy lounge day, I'm the perfect guy for the job! Story
Hello there and my name is Creighton! I’m about 9 months old and I’m quite the loving companion! I think I’m a lab mix but I know for sure that I’m a good pup! I’m medium sized (44 lb) and not likely I’ll get too much bigger! It takes me a minute to get comfortable but when I do I am the most loving dog. I love cuddles and walks and just being around my person! I am willing to learn and very treat motivated! I am a very smart pup and am happy to please you!  My favorite thing to do is go on walks and get to know all the new amazing smells! Loud noises often startle me and I love to stick by my human’s side! I would love a quiet home where I can relax and enjoy my humans’ company.  I would love it if someone adopted me who loves to be inside and watch a good movie while cuddling on the couch! I am crate trained and feel most comfortable when I have my own safe space where I know I can retreat to. I would love for you to give me a chance at a forever home where I will love you unconditionally and I know I would make a lifelong companion for you! Please adopt me! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
Rosemary and Thyme are sisters with that unmistakable sibling energy: a little goofy, a little conspiratorial, and full of quiet affection. They came into adulthood without much training, but they’re bright as sparks and pick things up quickly once they feel safe. They’re the kind of dogs who tilt their heads when you talk, as if they’re genuinely taking notes. Both girls have a tender streak. When trust settles in, they melt into you—cuddle-seekers who lean their whole weight as if to say you’re my person for this moment. They can be a bit shy or uncertain at first, but their sweetness shows through in small, glowing ways: a soft nudge for attention, a careful sniff of your hand, a shared nap when they decide you’re part of the pack. They’re looking for adopters who see potential rather than polish—people who love the idea of helping two clever, affectionate dogs grow into their best selves. With patience, kindness, and a steady routine, Rosemary and Thyme will repay that investment with loyalty, warmth, and a kind of gentle joy that makes a home feel lived-in. www.wonderdogsrescue.org
