Story
Hello! My name is Biscuit. I’m a 9 year Lab mix weighing about 60 pounds, and I’m the perfect blend of gentle, sweet, and laid-back. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel comfortable, my loving personality really shines. I’m a total sweetheart who enjoys the company of my people and my dog friends.  In my foster home, I love snuggling with the other dogs, going for leisurely walks, and then settling in for a cozy couch nap. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share quiet moments and simple joys, I just might be your perfect match.    Biscuit is part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If I’m adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor my adoption fee, and I’ll come with six months of heartworm prevention to help us start our life together off right.     If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share quiet moments and simple joys, I just might be your perfect match.    All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 9, 2026, 8:27 pm

Story
Meet Tzatziki! This handsome fella is a 65 lb. hunk and around 8 years old. He is a confident and independent dog that doesn't demand to be the center of attention, but is happy just to be in the presence of people who love him.  He likes everyone and is always polite when meeting new people, but reserves his true love and loyalty for his family.  Once you've made his inner circle he will happily curl up next to you on the couch or at your feet, and will be your permanent taste tester and plate cleaner extraordinaire. Tzatziki would be perfectly fine as an only dog, but can also coexist with other dogs that allow him to be the alpha of the pack. He doesn't require much exercise and is happy to lounge in the yard, but also enjoys a nice walk and is great on leash. He is crate trained and can occupy himself with a good chew toy or a nice long nap.   Tzatziki is currently going through heartworm treatment and is doing great! He is looking for a foster to adopt home that is willing to provide him with a soft couch and lots of love while he finishes his treatment (vet care is at the expense of the rescue until cleared for adoption.) Heartworm treatment protocol is rather easy for an older dog like him; leash walking to go to the bathroom, and relaxing indoors without much activity- which he happens to be quite good at anyway!  If you want to get a jump on adopting this handsome fella, submit an application today! Story
Sweet miss Stacy can't wait to be your new best friend. She loves being near her humans and is great at meeting new people, kids and adults alike! At 40 lbs and around 9 years old, she has the perfect demeanor for cuddling on the couch, which she could do almost all day with a good chew toy and her human companion. She's excellent with cats and good with most dogs, although she would do fine as an only dog. If you like taking walks she's ready to go, but she is also perfectly content to hang out in her yard and play an ocassional game of fetch. She's great at napping in her crate and is a wonderful listener who just wants to make her people happy.       All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Meet Winger, your future furry friend and champion napper, often found snoozing in cozy spots. He loves chewing on Benni bones and can destroy fluffy toys in seconds! Winger enjoys exploring outside and soaking up the sun. He eagerly comes when called and showers you with affection. Friendly with new people, he loves to sniff everything, especially food. While he usually ignores most cats, he may get annoyed with younger ones wanting to play. Winger is ready to bring joy and companionship to your home! Winger is part of our Senior Soulmate Program.
