Story
Please meet 6 month old Weston...❤...This little boy was living right smack dab in the middle of San Antonio Texas, with no place to romp, with a kind young girl who had recently gotten him off of Craig's List. This girl worked long hours and left Wes alone, crated, in her apartment for 10+ hours a day. Needless to say, this young boy needed more than she was able to offer him, so she reached out to us for help. Despite his past, Wes is well behaved, calm for his age, house trained, knows basic commands and is as sweet as can be...He rides great in the car and is cat friendly...We can't wait for Wes to start to enjoy all that life has to offer him...We are offering this handsome boy for adoption to some lucky family in the Northeast or Texas, who have another dog his size and age to play with, a fenced yard and the time to continue his training...Wes has lived with a cat and is cat friendly... ...If you are interested in being considered as a forever family for this amazing puppy, please follow the link below and we will be in touch promptly......Weston's adoption fee is $500, which includes complete vetting, medical record, new bed, collar, harness, leash, bone, ball and food for transitioning to his new home. Weston is currently in foster in Texas. https://www.labadoreinc.com/applications/adopt

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 9/7/24 Update! Fergal is currently enrolled in the Arkansas Paws in Prison program! He is working on basic training and learning all kinds of good things! This is an amazing program. Please consider adding Fergal to your family! He will graduate from Paws in Prison the week of October 21st, and will have his Canine Good Citizen Certificate when he graduates! Let's find Fergal a home! Read below for more info on him.  8/20/24 Fergal is a sweet boy who had been dumped in a  neighborhood that is a common dumping ground for unwanted pets. 2 of the residents worked together to feed Fergal and his sister. Unfortunately, others in the neighborhood were making threats against Fergal and his sister's lives. This is all too common in the south. Luckily, one of our amazing foster families stepped up to take in Fergal and Orla.  They do NOT need to be adopted together. Despite their rough start to life, these 2 are very very friendly and sweet. They are so thankful to be in a loving home and not out in the heat. They seem to be loving the AC! They have done great with crate training and house training! They are about 8 months old. We do not know their breed. They are likely very mixed with several breeds. They weigh about 35 pounds and won't get much bigger.     They are so friendly and sweet; they just soak up affection like they've been starving for it. They are good with other dogs. They haven't been around kids or cats. Given their sweet, friendly nature, we think they would be just fine with kids.    If you are looking for a good natured, medium sized dog, please consider one (or both) of these babies.   They are heartworm negative. They are spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 9/7/24 Meet Zoree! Zoree is a bundle of spunk. She is a sweet baby. You can tell that she is happy to be safe and in a warm, loving home! She is so happy to frolick in the field, play and wrassle, run run run. Once she gets her energy out, she's good about chilling out and taking a nap! Good with other dogs, cats, and kids. Zoree does find the cat in her foster home interesting and will chase her, but the cat is used to having dogs around and will put Zoree in her place. So, if Zoree goes to a home with cats, it should be a cat who isn't going to tolerate any nonsense! She is just so so happy, the happiest little girl, to be alive and in a good place. She will be dedicated and loyal. Not a bad bone in her body. Nothing but love. She is about 6 months old. We do not know her breed for sure, but Lab mix? More than likely, she is a mix of several breeds...all American mutt! She is working on housetraining. She is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.   In New England To apply to adopt, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059   email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
