Story
Meet Honey! Honey is a sweet, happy Lab/hound mix puppy born around September 17, 2025. Honey is an all-around happy, playful, and snuggly girl who truly enjoys life. She loves being outside, playing with her foster puppy brother, fetching sticks, and soaking up attention from her people. Mealtime and treats are high points of her day, but she’s just as content cuddled up on the couch after playtime. One of Honey’s most charming traits is her adorable wiggle-butt—when she gets excited, her whole body joins in. With her long, wiggly legs, she’s often compared to Bambi learning to walk, and it’s guaranteed to make you laugh. She would do best in a home where she gets plenty of companionship, love, and reassurance as she continues to grow. On walks, she’s learning to navigate the world and is gaining confidence every day. She does wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play, making her a great potential canine sibling. While she hasn’t been around cats yet, she’s very friendly by nature. Honey would thrive in a home that enjoys a mix of activity and downtime—she’d love hikes and adventures, but she’s just as happy hanging around the house with her people. She’s smart, eager to learn, and just needs someone willing to guide her as she continues discovering the world. Honey is current on vaccines, and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. If you think Honey could be the perfect addition to your family, please contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com

Story
Meet Carmela! Carmela is a beautiful Lab/hound mix puppy, born around September 17, 2025, and she’s just beginning to show what a special girl she truly is. New to rescue life, Carmela is already blossoming into a sweet, thoughtful, and very smart young pup who forms deep bonds with her people. Carmela has a gentle, easygoing nature and enjoys taking in the world at a comfortable pace. She’s not a hyper puppy — instead, she’s the kind of dog who enjoys meaningful playtime followed by a cozy spot to relax. Once she feels settled, her happy personality shines, especially during games of fetch (tennis balls are her favorite!) or quiet time with her people. This clever girl is highly food-motivated and already showing off her smarts. Carmela is doing well with crate training and leash training and already knows commands such as sit and stay. She is house trained and eager to continue learning with positive guidance. Carmela does well with other dogs and is also cat-friendly, making her a great fit for a multi-pet household. She would love a home with a fenced yard where she can safely play and explore, though she can also thrive with an adopter committed to providing regular exercise and enrichment. She is best suited for a home rather than an apartment. Carmela is good with children and enjoys their company, though she has not yet been around very young children. Carmela will make a wonderful companion for a family or individual ready to include her as part of the family. Carmela is current on vaccines, and her adoption fee includes her future spay and microchip. If you think Carmela could be the perfect addition to your family, please contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com.

Story
Meet Milo – Your Next Big Love Bug! If you’ve ever wanted a dog who thinks he’s a lap dog, loves life, and will follow you everywhere with a wagging tail, meet Milo! This handsome 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix weighs about 90 pounds of pure joy and affection, and he’s ready to steal your heart. Milo is the ultimate people-dog—friendly, loving, and endlessly loyal. He loves to be near his humans, showering everyone with kisses, cuddles, and goofy Lab charm. Milo thrives on adventure, play, and human connection. He loves braided toys, tug-of-war, long walks, and tasty treats, but nothing makes him happier than simply being with his people. He’s excelling in his basic training, learning quickly, and would thrive with a family who can continue teaching him boundaries, structure, and fun new skills. Milo would love a yard to play in, but it’s not required if his family is active and ready to provide daily exercise and engagement. Milo would do well with another dog whose style matches his playful spirit, but he would also be thrilled to be the center of attention in a single-dog household. Crate trained and fully potty trained, Milo is the kind of dog who brings joy wherever he goes. Milo is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines, and he’s just waiting for the family who will love him as much as he loves them. This big-hearted, fun-loving Lab mix is ready to be your buddy, adventure companion, and ultimate snuggle partner. If your home is ready for laughter, loyalty, and endless affection, Milo may be your perfect match. Don’t wait—contact us at adopt@carolinapaws.com to meet him today!

Story
Cruz is the sweetest little pup looking for his forever home. Cruz and his brother Diego were dumped by their owner on the side of a busy road and they are ready for a fresh start! Cruz is doing great in his foster home, loving attention and playing with his brother. We think these brothers may be Lab/Shepherd mixes and will most likely be large dogs. At roughly 9 weeks old they are weighing in over 10lbs. Cruz would love an active family with a fenced backyard for him to safely run and play in. If you think this sweet boy would make a great addition to your family, then please fill out the adoption application on our website https://www.pawsitiveimpactncdogrescue.org/adopt  ##1982745##
