Story
Spenser is currently in boarding and needs a foster or adopter so that we can learn more about him.  He would do best in a home with no other animals and a large fenced yard to “zoom” around.  He is approximately 49 lbs.   At 1 year old, he has a lot of energy but we have training lined up for him if we can find someone to commit to fostering him and working on new skills with him and his trainer while he's in foster care.    We don’t want Spencer to fall by the wayside! We know he’s a good boy. If you have time to learn about and love on Spencer, please complete an application at lastdaydogs.comOctober 8, 2025, 11:11 am

Story
Meet Isaac – A Loyal, Lovable Lab Mix Looking for His Forever Adventure!   If you're looking for a best friend with a heart of gold, a playful spirit, and soulful eyes that say 'I’m ready to love you forever', then say hello to Isaac – the sweet and handsome black Lab mix who’s ready to start the next chapter of his life with YOU.   Isaac’s story began in a small-town litter of five puppies, where resources were few and adoption opportunities even fewer. Lucky for him, a kind senior gentleman saw something special in young Isaac and brought him home. But as Isaac grew into his playful, energetic self, it became clear that raising a rambunctious puppy wasn’t the right fit. With love and honesty, his adopter returned him—still believing Isaac deserved the best life possible.   Now 7 months old and 40 pounds of happy energy, Isaac has been given a fresh start through a dedicated rescue network—and he’s thriving! He’s already neutered, fully vetted, and well on his way to being housebroken (no more tiny puppy chaos!). Best of all, he’s past the intense chewing phase and settling into his more mature, eager-to-please self.   Friendly, affectionate, and people-focused Great older puppy energy—playful but manageable Would thrive with a fenced yard or active lifestyle‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Loves to run, play, and stay active with his people Smart, alert, and ready to learn House training head start - doing great! Fully vetted, neutered, and healthy   Isaac greets everyone with a tail wag and a joyful presence. His kind face is full of hope, his spirit is loyal and loving, and his mission is simple: find a forever family who will treasure him just as much as he treasures them.   Whether you’re an active single looking for a trail buddy or a family searching for a loving companion to grow up alongside your kids, Isaac is ready to give you his heart—and maybe a few goofy zoomies, too.    To adopt this wonderful boy, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and give Isaac the home he’s been waiting for.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJuly 5, 2025, 1:19 pm

Story
Meet Archie Doo, the sweet, scruffy, and oh-so-smart 1-year-old Labradoodle who’s ready to leave his tough past behind and step into the wonderful life he’s always deserved. Archie weighs 44 pounds, has the softest curls, and is brimming with personality once he feels safe and understood.   Archie came to us in October after living in heartbreaking conditions—long days in a crate far too small, barely any food, and almost no real interaction or exercise. Being abandoned left some marks on his heart, but this boy is resilient. With the help of gentle medication, structure, and a foster mom who’s giving him all the right leadership and love, Archie is discovering what it means to be cared for.   Now he’s ready for a family who can help him continue to grow.Archie needs a home where:   crate time is minimal there’s a fenced yard to run and play people are around often and can reassure him he’s not alone training, consistency, and patience are part of everyday life   Archie loves other dogs—especially ones close to his size—and would enjoy having a canine buddy to wrestle and play with. He’s a total snuggle bug and will gladly curl up beside you on the couch, soaking up every minute of affection. And when it’s playtime? This boy is ALL IN. Balls, frisbees, stuffed toys—you name it, he plays with pure joy.   Because of his past, crating while his person is home can still be hard for him, though he does settle down nicely when crated while you’re away. With time, patience, and positive reinforcement, he’s already improving and will continue to grow more confident.   Archie is smart—classic doodle intelligence—and knows several basic commands. But he’s also still got that goofy, energetic puppy spirit, so he’ll thrive with plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and a predictable routine. Long walks, yard time, and active engagement will be key to helping him feel grounded and fulfilled.   The perfect match for Archie?Someone who wants a loyal companion by their side. Someone with time, structure, and a big heart. Retired folks, work-from-home families, or anyone looking for a buddy to share their days with would be a dream come true for him.   Archie Doo has already come so far, and everyone who has helped him believes deeply in his incredible potential. He just needs the right person or family to help him continue the journey.   If you would like to foster or adopt this special boy, please reach out to ccrtennessee@gmail.com. Archie is ready for his happily-ever-after—and he hopes you’re part of it.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 6, 2025, 3:35 pm

Story
Meet Beauregard (Beau ) &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Some dogs are born with a purpose, but they never get the chance to discover it until someone believes in them. Beauregard is one of those dogs.   This Lab/Hound mix boy was found abandoned on the Natchez Trace Parkway in Middle Tennessee—hungry, covered in fleas and ticks, scarred from hardship, and too terrified to accept a gentle human touch. He had all but given up on life, surviving only on scraps of food and little more. Beau's story didn’t end there. Caring rescuers saw beyond his broken, skinny body and haunting eyes. With Critter Cavalry Rescue’s help, Beau was trapped, treated by a vet and given the first real chance of a good and loving future in his young life. Less than a year old and painfully thin,  Beau has since grown into a healthy, strong 75-pound boy with a heart that’s slowly learning how to trust and love again.   His foster mom, Cissy, describes his journey best:  “When Beau first arrived, he wouldn’t come out of his doghouse or look at me. But little by little, food, fresh water, and the happy barks of my other dogs began to chip away at his fear. The first time he took a treat from my hand, I knew he was beginning to understand love. Now Beau is part of our pack—he follows me around the farm, plays with the other dogs, and even helps encourage new rescues to run and play, just as others once taught him. He still has moments of fear with new people or the leash, but his confidence grows every single day. Watching him blossom has been nothing short of amazing.”    Beauregard’s scars—both inside and out—are healing, and his purpose is becoming clear that he is going to be a loyal, loving companion. He’s looking for a home with a kind, but confident leader who can continue guiding him on this journey of love and trust.. With patience, consistency, and love, Beau will give back tenfold—his big heart and beautiful soul are simply waiting for the right family to share them with.&#226&#156&#168 Beau is more than a survivor—he’s a testament to resilience, hope, and the healing power of love. Could you be the one to give him the forever home he’s been waiting for?  please email asking for more information or an adoption form to ccrnewengland@gmail.com       PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 2, 2025, 1:51 pm

Story
What’s not to love about Idgie? This gorgeous Black Lab/Beagle mix puppy has every lovable trait from both sides of her family tree—intelligence, sweetness, loyalty, curiosity, and a whole lot of heart. At 4 months old and 20 pounds, she’s on track to become a perfect medium-size companion of 40–45 pounds full grown.  Idgie didn’t start life in the best circumstances. She and her siblings lived in a sad, dirty situation until stepping into safety on 11/16. But that’s behind her now—Idgie has traded a tough beginning for a future filled with love, snuggles, and hope. In her foster home, she’s surrounded by kind, gentle kids who shower her with affection. She revels in every hug, every cuddle, every moment of warmth she’s finally getting to experience. She has four siblings also searching for forever homes, and together they’re proving just how resilient, bright, and eager to bond they are. These puppies are little learning machines—curious, smart, and ready to soak up every lesson their new families want to teach. Idgie’s shiny black coat and soft Beagle ears aren’t just adorable—they frame the sweetest puppy face you’ll ever meet. She’s a survivor with a gentle spirit, a loving nature, and a spark of Beagle adventure that makes life with her fun and full of possibilities. Whether you’re dreaming of a holiday season filled with puppy snuggles, sweet gazes, and joyful energy… or simply looking for a loyal companion to grow up with your family… Idgie is ready to be your girl. She has so much love to give, and she’s waiting for a family who will cherish her forever.  If you think Idgie belongs in your home, contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.

Story
Puppies like Blaze remind us why rescue work matters so much. While some litters are born into comfort and care, Blaze and his siblings have been surviving in conditions too heartbreaking to fully describe. At only 4 months old and 18 pounds, this Black Lab mix has lived his entire young life in an unclean outdoor pen—never knowing warmth, play, or even basic comfort. But the moment he entered foster care, Blaze’s light started to shine. His first real bath, which he adored, washed away more than dirt—it washed away the feeling that this was all life would ever be. He received his first vaccine, began deworming, and for the first time, got to chew on a real toy and rest somewhere safe. His short video shows a puppy discovering happiness in real time. Blaze is a blank slate in the best possible way: open-hearted, eager to learn, and so ready to belong to someone. He will be neutered on 11/17 and then he’ll be ready to finally have the life every puppy deserves—a home full of kindness, routine, and people who treat him like family. His foster mom says all four puppies are incredibly sweet despite their rough beginning. Blaze was the first one we could save because we simply don’t have fosters yet for the others. Adopting him doesn’t just change his life—your choice creates room and hope for the next little one waiting in that pen. Blaze is ready to be someone’s heart dog. He is ready to sleep indoors, to trust people, to explore, to make friends, to grow up safe. Most of all, he is ready to feel loved. If you feel pulled to be the person who gives Blazd his new beginning, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue atccrtennessee@gmail.com or text/call 615-661-5333. Blaze is waiting for the miracle that looks like you.
