Hi, I'm Topsy! Age: Approx. 2 years Gender: Spayed Female Weight: 46 lbs Breed: Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Mix Favorites: Treats, playing with people Energy level: High Training: Knows command “sit,” appears potty trained Other important info about me: I am full of boundless joy and want to share that with anyone and everyone! I came to the shelter with my best friend, Turvy, but he has been adopted already and I’m still waiting anxiously for my family to come along! I was good friends with Turvy, but I am not interested in having any other dog friends and need to be in a home without other dogs. I get along well with people of all ages; I haven’t been tested with cats at this time. Story
Playful Paws: Meet Margie, A Puppy Ready for Adventures! Introducing the precious Margie, a lovable pup still on the lookout for her forever home! Recently, Margie enjoyed a fun-filled day out, and here`s what they discovered about this sweet girl:Margie is the ultimate social butterfly! She hopped right into the van and settled in like a pro. On our strolls, she does tug a bit on the leash—just eager to explore! Her playful spirit truly shines when she spots squirrels and birds, and she simply can’t resist the temptation to chase after them. When we met a friendly neighbor, Margie greeted her with gentle jumps and sweet, playful kisses, truly believing that everyone deserves love. Although she was a tad nervous in the tub, Margie went with the flow during her spa day. We pampered her with two shampoos, a deep cleansing and a whitening shampoo, followed by a deep conditioning treatment. Now, her fur is unbelievably soft and stunning! While she wasn`t a fan of the dryer, Margie made the best of it and entertained herself with a new treat ball, happily trying to get all the tasty morsels out of it.Margie’s puppy nails were a little sharp, but her sweet demeanor made it easy to clip and dremel them down without any fuss. She’s such a good girl! This playful pup adores attention and her squeaky toys are a favorite! While we wouldn’t recommend a home with cats without supervision, Margie is still learning her boundaries. Her playful energy is boundless, and sometimes she might come on a bit strong for a shy kitty. When the weather turned hot and humid, we decided to stay in for a movie. Margie is the perfect snuggle buddy, happily curling up next to you or even in your lap! She loves to lean into you for all the cozy cuddles, soaking up affection until she becomes a perfect little puddle of love. Although she might get a little mouthy during playtime and kiss sessions due to her puppy nature, she’s easily redirected with stuffies and is gentle when accepting treats. After all, she’s in the prime of her learning stage!Margie is such a sweetheart and has stolen our hearts! We truly enjoyed our time with her, and we hope she finds a loving family to call her own very soon! If you’re ready to welcome this affectionate pup into your home, Margie is just waiting to shower you with love! Adopt Margie and let the snuggles begin!
