Hi all, name's Starburst! I am a 6 year old Maltese lady and I am looking for a family to call my own! Let me tell you a bit about myself! I'm a very sweet and loving girl. I love a good lap to cuddle on, and I will look up at you with my cute face :) I am good with other dogs! I am nervous, but I warm up to new human friends. My foster family is helping me get more comfortable with normal dog life. I have learned to really enjoy walks and playing outside, but my favorite thing is just to sit up high and watch what is going on around me. I settle quickly in my crate and when I'm carried outside, I'm getting the hang of the schedule! I've started exploring my surroundings more, learning about this new world, and so far, I'm impressed! I think it will be great to join a family as long as they are patient and give me time to continue learning to be a dog! Let TNT know if you think we would be a good match! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Gladys!  Gladys is an approximately 1 year old sweet Maltese that just arrived from transport.  Although she just arrived, her true personality has already came through! Making her a heart stealer and a perfect buddy to follow you around!  Here’s more about Gladys:  Walks- She walks great on leash, and tends to look back, making sure she is pleasing you and near you!  Crate- She willing goes in her crate (well with some slight bribery, a treat preferably).  Cuddles- Gladys loves some cuddles, and is sure to lay down and show you her belly, making her the perfect late night move partner!  Overall, Gladys is sure to steal your heart! If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly and loyal pup she is your girl. Gladys recently underwent surgery to remove a cancerous mammary tumor. Thankfully, the tumor was completely excised, and she is currently cancer-free. While this is very positive news, she will require ongoing preventative care and regular veterinary monitoring to help ensure her continued health and to catch any potential concerns early. Meet Lilly! I am an active and energetic girl that will need a young family to love me for years to come. I am a gentle soul with a heart full of love. I am very sweet and love belly rubs and treats. I weigh 10 lbs and love to go on walks. I do get excited and “talk” to other dogs on walks. Don’t they know this is my neighborhood and they aren’t allowed to walk in it too?! Due to my excitement, my foster mom thinks I’d do best in a home where I’m the only dog and get alllllll the attention. My favorite place to be is on my humans lap, being held and watching tv. Yes, TV! Let’s meet and talk about our favorite shows to watch. I can’t wait to be our couch buddy. My foster mom says I also love to keep her company while she works and I’m the best co- worker and let her work while I snooze, dreaming of my forever family finding me. I am about 3-1/2 years old and I’m told I’m a Yorkie-Maltese mix. Which equates to an adorable little bundle of pure happiness. I am housebroken and crate trained. But I only go in the crate when no one is home or to sleep overnight. If there are any kids in my forever home, I prefer them to be 10 or older. Lilly is available to adopt in the Chicagoland area and is being fostered in a home. Appointments to visit her will be set up for approved adopters only. Adoption fee is $400.00 which includes all age appropriate vaccines, and she is already spayed and microchipped.
