This little guy is incredibly affectionate and loves nothing more than snuggling up with his people. He’s also a fan of car rides and adventures, making him a great companion for both cozy days and outings alike. Jasper can be a bit shy when he first meets new people, but once he warms up, his loving personality truly shines. He does well with cats and other dogs and would thrive in a home with another canine companion to help him feel confident and comfortable. Jasper would do best in a home with older children. He is crate trained, housebroken, neutered, and fully vaccinated — all ready to settle into his forever home. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. This sweet male Maltese mix is about 10 pounds and full of charm. He’s still working on house training, so he’s looking for a patient adopter who’s willing to put in some time and training. With consistency and guidance, he has all the potential to be a great little companion. He would do well in a quiet, gentle home. He gets along well with all other dogs. He doesn’t seem to have a high prey drive so he would likely be fine with cats, He is crate trained and is doing well with house training. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Lady’s a 7yo 10lb Maltese mix. She’s dog selective, cat and kid 13+ friendly. She’s housebroken if kept on a schedule but will wear a diaper and use pee pads and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harness leashed walks. She’s agile, smart, likes squeaky toys, people and going for walks but will bark at people, dogs and noises. She is easy startled so best to sleep in a dog bed on the floor so not to accidentally wake her while sleeping. Lady’s foster requires a calm home, where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, be an only dog, brushed/groomed often to prevent matting along with leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far. Lady as all dogs should have 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first. Lady takes medication for a seizure disorder and for her eyes. Home Requirements: A fenced yard is a plus but not required—these two are content with walks and indoor potty breaks on pads. They do alert to passersby if they can see out a window and are often adorably confused when people come downstairs—it's part of their charm! They would thrive in a calm, loving home, though some gentle activity and energy would be welcome too. Another dog isn't necessary, but they’ve done well with other pups, especially females. Mr. Jingles can be a bit dominant, but he’s been living peacefully with a small male dog in foster care.
