Story
Meet cute-as-a-button Margo!

Margo is a Maltese mix lady who is both house and crate trained. She may be a sophisticated gal, but she still has great energy and enthusiasm! She has been good with other dogs so far - she just asks for a little personal space if they're a bit too much.

Margo loves people! She's a sociable little lady who will greet you with a smile. Really! Her smile is one of our favorite things about her. She's always happy and loves loves loves pets and cuddles.

Sweet Margo was abandoned at a motel. She's not asking for much - just a happy home of any size with someone who will love her dearly! Can you give her the happy furever home she so deserves?

Story
Meet 2B, pronounced Tubey! Forgive the unorthodox name, I got it from one of my favorite video game characters. 2B is a 2 year old, 9 lb. Maltese/Yorkie mix. We met when I adopted her from a family friend about 2 years ago when she was just a few months old. She has grown so much and was just as playful then as she is today. 2

B is a sweet girl who is very enthusiastic and full of energy. She sometimes likes to play with her toys alone, but she loves it most when other doggy or human friends play with her. She has a little bit of an underbite, so it is sort of difficult for her to make the squeaker sound with her toys, but she still tries. Her favorite toys are ones that look like small animals such as mice or squirrels. She especially loves the little cat toys that beep when you touch them. She will take those everywhere she goes like they are her babies. She doesn't mind being picked up or held. I have always liked to cradle her like she is a baby to give her kisses, and she has never minded this.

2B does not shed, but has thick, hairlike fur that needs to be buzzed every few months. I have always given 2B haircuts myself because she is so calm and her thicker hair makes it easy for beginners. 2B has no history of medical issues and does not require any medications. She is up to date on her vaccinations, takes medication for fleas and ticks regularly, and is spayed and chipped.

As mentioned earlier, 2B has a high energy level and is always spinning in circles and jumping up and down when she sees you. She loves taking walks and playing fetch/ tug of war with people. She is great with kids and other animals but even better with adults. she has lived with many cats and another dog most of her life. With cats, 2B tends to be highly curious and can get a little too much into their space, which can be annoying to most cats but she never tries to harm them. With dogs, she is shy at first and just observes them until she feels comfortable enough to play with them, but will also not snap or growl at them.

2B needs to live with people who have the ability to take her on lots of walks or spend lots of time playing with her. She is a very smart dog and needs to be mentally stimulated often or she can get bored.

2B is crate trained and has been since she was a puppy. She likes to sleep in her crate overnight and will use it to take naps in throughout the day. She is pretty good when walking on a leash, but sometimes pulls a bit when she gets excited. 2B is mostly house broken but has been know to have accidents inside. She may need a little training in this area from a dog trainer. She also can be a little anxious sometimes when she hears sounds outside or knocks at the door and will bark at those sounds. She knows when its time to go in her crate and when its time to go outside. She understands come here, go, sit, and stop. She is a fast learner and easy to train, her areas of lack in discipline really lies on me. She loves being near her owners and giving them occasional touches with her paw to check on them. She likes putting her face near your face and being as close to you as you will allow. She is always curious about what you are doing and especially what you are eating. She will go under the covers to take a nap with you if she is tired too. I feel that she is attuned to the emotions of her humans and has come to cuddle with me when she has seen that I am sad.

I am choosing to rehome 2B because I am not around enough to give her the time she needs to be mentally stimulated everyday. I think that she would do much better in a household with people who can take her on daily walks and play around with her often. A place with owners who have the time and resources to properly train her in the areas she needs work on. She has spent a lot of time lately in a gated area of my house and I think that this is not the ideal living situation for her. 2B just wants to love you and hang out with you! If she sounds like your kind of animal friend then apply to adopt 2B today!
