Biscuit is 28lb maltese-terrier mix. He is low maintenance. He does not bark that much. He is chill and likes to sleep. So sweet personality. He likes to be around people and stay on your lap. We rescued him in late 2023 so he is probably around 2.5-3 years old. His face is maltese but his fur is short. We have pet dander allergy in our family so we need a dog that is more hypoallergenic. We have been taking care of him so well. He receives yearly check up, takes daily multivitamin, monthly heart worm prevention, he takes daily walk morning and evening, he is cleaned and bathed quite often on regular basis to maintain his hygiene. The cost of adoption will cover all those expenses.

Ernie is a 6 year old, 9 lb Maltese/Poodle mix. When he first arrived at Humane Tomorrow, it was obvious that he had not been well cared for. He had a long, dirty coat and teeth that required cleaning and five extractions. Now, he is just as cute as he is sweet and happy. Ernie is a social butterly and the life of the party. He loves people. He will gladly hop into the nearest lap to be petted. He gets along with the big and small dog in his foster home, and he ignores the cat. Hi, I'm Blue Bell. I was adopted out as a puppy from RHS but my family could no longer care for me. I LOVE human attention. I get along with other dogs, but I do want to make sure I've got your full attention!!! My dental care was basically nonexistent, so I had to have all my teeth pulled. I feel much better and it doesn't bother me. I'm not a fan of being brushed or groomed, although you can work with me on that. Ready to give an old girl like me a chance? Here's how to meet me: Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. We hold these events once a month on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We post the pets who are expected to attend on Friday evening on our Facebook page. For exact details and locations, view our event calendar. If an event is over a week away, a counselor may contact you for a phone interview. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at MTP or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
