Story
NAME:TagSTATS:Male, Min Pin, 10 years, 10 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and when he feels safe, he is your best snuggle buddy..SKILLSPotty trained.Crate trained.Leash trained.Older children only.Good with dogs.Good with cats.Would make a great hiking buddy.MORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Needs patient owner willing to work on behavior (see details below).ONE LAST THING:Tag is a gorgeous red Miniature Pinscher. He is shy at first with new people. Once he gets to know you he is a snuggly sweet guy. Tag is very sensitive and smart. He is coming out of his shell and amazing transformation. He loves to snuggle. He loves to curl up right on top of you or beside you and just enjoy his time with you. He has been great with dogs that are similar to his size and adapts quickly. He's also got the basics down (kennel trained, potty trained, gets along with other animals) and is ready to find the perfect home. He's pretty vocal when it comes to telling you what he wants. For example, he will bark or whine near the water dish, door (for potty), or food when he wants it. He's so smart and picks up on things pretty quickly.Tag needs time to adjust and decompress in new situations. He is quite skittish and weary of new people. Because he is skittish, he would do best in an all adult home or a home with older, patient children. Loud noises or quick movements make him nervous, so patience and a semi-quiet home would be best.May 29, 2023, 12:23 am

Story
15 yr old, 12 lb Min Pin MALE for HOSPICE ADOPTION Jasper Gem is an adoptable hospice dog and the newest member of our sunset club Our sunset club is for animals who have an estimated 6-12 months of quality time left, before they will be ready to shed their bodies and gain their wings to fly over the rainbow bridge.   So he is looking for his very own earth angel who will give him all the love and comfort he deserves for his final chapter. Our sunset club was created because no animal deserves to spend their final moments alone and scared anywhere near a cold shelter floor.   If you like seeing us take these types of dogs into our rescue, then please help us get them in front of people to find them homes. We cannot take more if we cannot get them adopted.   This absolutely adorable dear old man is a 13-year-old 11 lb Min Pin Mix that came to us from San Jose Animal Care Center He has an estimated 6 months (could be less could be more) with us on earth before he will be ready to take his journey to the next adventure. Due to heart disease   This is what his foster mom says about him-   “Jasper is a really sweet older dog. He walks slowly and carefully so walks aren’t his thing, at least for now. He has limited hearing and vision, but quickly sorted how to get around the house. His first few days here he would randomly bark, but that has mostly stopped.   Jasper appears to be house trained (we have had a few nighttime accidents). He will bark at the door to let you know when he wants in or out. He enjoys laying outside in the sun, and will search out sunbeams in the house to nap in.   He is a very good eater, even with no teeth. He easily takes his meds (heart and pain) when they’re inside of his wet food. He also happily accepts treats any time. He sleeps all night in his dog bed. He doesn’t like to be crated.   He gets along fine with the other dogs in the house (mostly ignores them). He’s been indifferent to my 9 year old granddaughter.     After a week of being here, he is starting to feel a bit more comfortable. He doesn’t seek me out for attention or pets, but does like to lay on a dog bed nearby. His favorite thing is a full body rub.”   If you are able to open your heart to offer this much deserving boy an amazing final chapter, please send us an email to beourpet@gmail.com. If you are unable to adopt but would like to help find Jasper an earth angel, please ***SHARE THIS POST***       If you would like to make a tax-deductible (EIN 45-4103375) towards this pet's care, please do so on this post (if this is an option) or by one of these     www.paypal.me/UOH Zelle beourpet@gmail.com Venmo umbrellaof-hoperescue   You can also buy Umbrella of Hope merchandise where you not only advertise our cause with cute clothes, but the proceeds also benefit our medical fund — at tinyurl.com/pineappletee   We have an Etsy store where all proceeds benefit our medical fund at https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope   Amazon Wish List https://a.co/2sALMwd   Please spread this dog around in order to help them find a home. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet.  Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.   We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services and give a special thanks to volunteer photographers Tanya, Barbara, Kristy, Christine, Teressa and Natalie.  We are on all social media at @umbrellaofhope and we invite you to follow us and share which helps more people see and adopt our pets.  To help our ALL VOLUNTEER team rescue more senior, special needs, medically needy and hospice animals (and a few 'typical' ones along the way, please consider making a tax-deductible (TAX ID 45-4103375) donation online at www.paypal.me/UOH or Venmo @umbrellaof-hoperescue or Zelle beourpet@gmail.com.   You can also buy tees, tanks. sweatshirts, hats and bandannas where all proceeds benefit our animals https://ruff-life-rescue-wear.myshopify.com/collections/umbrella-of-hope We also have an Etsy store where the merchandise is made by volunteers and supporters, changes regularly and 100% of the proceeds benefit our medical fund https://www.etsy.com/shop/Umbrellaofhope Amazon Wish List tinyurl.com/pineapplewish  May 25, 2023, 2:25 pm

Meet charming Ms. Chanterelle, a demure dame who loves nothing more than relaxing in a soft spot with her head positioned under a set of active scritchers (your fingers). Energy-wise, Chanterelle identifies as couch preferring; she's the kind of friend who will never force you to run a marathon with her. Isn't that nice? Story
Dorothea is a lady of leisure. She would rather sit on the sofa and crochet than take long hikes in nature. She is a true couch potato! If you like laid back dogs, you must meet Dorothea. She is a very sweet Miniature Pinscher with a bod that tends to wobble when she walks. She shouldn't do stairs or high energy workouts. Instead, she prefers to cuddle, bake banana bread, and listen to some groovy tunes on her Bluetooth speaker. She may be a senior, but Dorothea has got it going on! Care to join her for an episode of, "The Golden Girls?" Popular Dorothea has some special appearances scheduled, so you can't take her home until after June 3rd. You can apply now, though

Story
Meet Ria, a tasty Tootsie Roll of a doglet with fur so lustrous and shiny you can use it to check your teeth after eating chia seeds. Ria might be one leg short of a full set, but that doesn't stop her from bopping around like a pro with all that perky Min Pin energy. She loves taking long walks, and her sweet personality will have you both making friends with all the dogs and people you meet along the way.
