His favorite pastime is hanging out with doggie pals in the park and the daily walks. Ryan is loyal to his master; he could be a little shy when introduced to strangers, but is easy-going and comfortable around familiar faces. He gets along well with dogs and cats. Ryan will be a great companion pet if he got chance to be your family member. Please watch his video to learn more about sweet Ryan. Ryan’s rescue story: Like other strays, puppy Ryan was under the feeding of volunteers for the first five months of his life, until one day he was injured by a car. Treatment for him in the hospital was successful and he soon resumed normal activities and stayed in the shelter until he was one year old. When he was finally put under the care of a foster family, Ryan was very timid and skittish, but showed great improvement in socializing in just a few months under the care of his foster family. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Our Dr. Seuss is named for one of the author's lesser known characters: the Leggy True Boo of MinPinAroo, a high-spirited imp with an infinite capacity for fun. In the book he's a gigantic blue marsupial. In real life, he's an itty bitty chocolate brown min-pin with red spots and splashes. He's a Guys! Guys! Guys! guy who bounces, skips, sambas and break dances through life, kissing, playing, and leaping into laps. He stops and rolls for tum rubs, snuggles and high fives. He takes walks and hikes, sometimes more than once a day. The technical term is "active senior. The reality is "peppy loverboy with puppy vibes and a taste for adventure". Adopt him and have it all! Here's some notes from his foster: We have had the pleasure of fostering Dr. Seuss or "Doc as we call him. Initially he was nervous but by the third day his cute little personality came out and began to shine! He loves to completely bury himself under blankets! He loves going for walks and enjoys playing with toys... for a few minutes anyway. What he really loves is cuddling with his person, basking in the sun and snuggling under soft blankets. He sleeps through the night and goes potty outside. Dr. Seuss would prefer to be the only Dr. in the house. He likes to be the king of the castle when it comes to other dogs. He is very sweet and loving and was great with my grand daughter...could not get enough of her! We are enjoying every minute with this sweet, perfect little guy!

Story
It has to be said: Turner is a head-turner. Tall, dark and darling with sharp white eyebrows and muzzle, he takes handsome up a notch with his red socks and highlights. His legs are long and agile, just right for stairs and long walks. His ears look like fur wings that might work in a strong wind. He loves a good time, always up for playing with humans and canine friends. And his manners are just dandy! He has a "sit to die for. Get him now before a modeling agency snaps him up. Here's some notes from his foster: When they said "Man's Best Friend" - Turner understood the assignment. This guy has ultimate "just happy to be here" vibes and could probably flourish in any type of family. I think he would do great with kids and other dogs, or be someone's special solo companion. He loves to see dogs on our walks and say hi, but is totally cool with his foster brother not wanting anything to do with him. He has energy for play time and walks (he out walks his foster brother but is fine patiently waiting up), but if you are focused on something else he is happy to chill and stare at you with his adoring eyes. He is a good mix of mature but down for a good time! He loves to jump on comfy surfaces and does so quick and gracefully. He loves to SNUGGLE and will be your own personal Turner blanket at night. We haven't noticed any barking, and he seems potty trained. He loves food and probably would be very food motivated to learn tricks, but he's so perfect we haven't even needed to bust out the treats for any behavior issues. If you're looking for a loyal snuggle bug with plenty of life and love to give- Turner will love to be your furever family.
