This week at Muttville we’re celebrating the Lunar New Year, and what better way to do that than with an elegant stone symbolizing purity, protection, harmony, and prosperity? That’s right, we mean Jade, sometimes a gorgeous green stone, and sometimes a practically perfect mini pinscher. Although we don’t see the fountain of youth mentioned above, Jade’s silky black and tan fur contains nary a white hair (maybe she’s a member of the fake ID club?). Boba is a 7 and 1/2 month old puppy that came to our home as a foster. His high energy did not seem to be a good fit for my senior pug and senior cat so unfortunately we can’t keep him. He thrives being the only pet in the house and is extremely smart. Boba is currently looking for a home that has no other pets in the house and ideally no kids either. Boba is not aggressive but does have a habit of wanting to play a bit rough and being in the right environment will allow him to be the bestest boy ever. Boba is sweet, loving and has a huge personality. He loves to be active so he will need a family/owner who is willing to train him and provide tons of exercise as well. We love our boy Boba but he deserves a home where he can be the only spoiled fur baby.

She is gentle with treats and will follow you everywhere you go in the house, curious and interested - and perhaps with a little bit of hoping for a treat! She is dog friendly with other dogs and enjoys running around in the yard, playing chase with her Sanctuary buddies. She would be happy living in a family environment or with a single adult or couple with time to go on walks and play. She could use a bit of extra training on leash manners, but is walking well when wearing harness. Tizzy will make a terrific companion in almost any situation.
