Story
Her name is Turbo Charge, and she lives up to it, just…maybe not in the way you'd expect. Yes, she has occasional zoomies. Yes, she will sniff every single leaf on the entire walk, non-negotiable. Yes, she approaches every day like it’s the best day of her life. But once that’s out of her system, she’s the first one on the couch, remote in hand, ready to watch the latest episode of Love is Blind (or Friends reruns. She’s not picky). Turbo is a loyal, loving shadow who wants to be wherever you are, whether that's hiking a trail, running errands, hitting the beach, or absolutely rotting on the couch. Car rides? Dream passenger. Sleeping in? She’ll not only allow it, she’ll encourage it. And, although she’s only just started potty training, she's a quick learner who’s getting better and better at it every day. Turbo Charge is looking for someone who wants a loyal, cheerful companion who’s up to ride out the twists and turns of life with her. After all, life is a highway… you might as well have a Turbo Charge on your side! -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
HandiSnacks is a one-year-old miniature Poodle who is currently operating under the working theory that the world might be a little scary. However, he’s starting to challenge that theory through very scientific processes. He's a bit timid and still building trust with people, but there's so much personality quietly waiting underneath. You can see it when he's outside, running laps in the yard like a little maniac who has just discovered the concept of freedom. That dog is in there. He just needs to feel safe enough to show up. He's curious about everything, from smells to the general vibe of a new space, and he approaches it all with both caution and interest. He's been a very good boy with both cats and dogs, so a calm, confident dog friend to show him the ropes would probably do wonders for him. He's a little nervous about going outside on a leash, which means leash walking itself is still a work in progress, but he's resilient, docile, and seems eager to learn. HandiSnacks will need a patient person who understands that trust is earned and finds that process rewarding rather than frustrating. The good news is that once he decides you're safe, we have a feeling he'll be the best friend ever. -----

Story
Hinge asked us to tell you that if you walk past her without saying hello, she’ll be sad about it. She isn’t mad, just disappointed. Just saying hi takes two seconds and will absolutely make her day. This girl is a people-loving snuggler through and through. She wants to be near her person, and, as we may have mentioned, has very strong feelings about being acknowledged. She's come a long way on the independence front, though. She spent the first week with her foster family basically velcroed to them 24/7, but has since learned to relax on her own. However, she'd probably thrive with another dog around or a person who works from home. Just someone to share the couch with, really. She's not asking for much. Her quirk? Sudden movements, like a chair scooting out, can catch her off guard (same). Her response is to simply leave the area and reconsider her options. No drama, no fuss. Just a tactical retreat. A reasonable strategy, if you ask me. Hinge loves her leash walks (three to four a day), already knows "down," and is picking up potty training quickly. She uses her pee pad reliably, with just the occasional overnight slip-up. She's also not much of a barker. Instead, she tends to communicate in what her foster mom describes as baby-bird peeps, which is information we felt you needed immediately. She is a little picky about her food and isn't sold on plain kibble yet (again, same), but she's adjusting! And given how quickly she learns everything else, we're not too worried. Hinge is sweet, soft, and all-around wonderful. She just wants to be loved, and you could be the lucky person who gets to love her! -----

Story
Antenna is picking up every signal, and right now, they're all saying she's ready for her person. Like any rescue pup, she takes a little time to warm up. However, once she feels safe, this girl is fully, completely, 100% yours. We're talking unprompted belly offers, lap naps, showing up wherever you've decided to sit, and simply... installing herself. Working from home? She’ll just scootch right on in there. Reading on the couch? She'll take the lap. Lap already occupied? She'll take the spot right beside you and make it work. She's nothing if not resourceful. PSA: She can be timid about being picked up, but has absolutely no problem climbing directly into your lap herself. She’s a strong, kind-of-but-not-really independent lady, thank you. And, like her name, Antenna is genuinely tuned in. She reads body language and tends to “match” the people in front of her, stopping when you stop, turning when you turn, etc. It's adorable and, honestly, pretty funny. As far as the “serious” stuff goes, she's knocking it out of the park: potty trained and super reliable with her routine. Hasn't barked once. Excellent in the car. Relaxed and friendly with other dogs and kids. Walks like a pro on a leash. (Stairs are still her nemesis, but she's working on it. We believe in her.) A calm home would suit her best. Preferably somewhere she can keep coming out of her shell at her own pace. Every day she shows a little more of herself, and every day she (somehow) becomes more wonderful to be around. Her foster calls her a dream dog...we're not going to argue. -----

Story
Yes, her name is Valve, and like her name, we think that once she’s fully opened up, personality will simply pour out of her. Valve is a sweet, affectionate girl who is brand new to the whole "pet life" thing. Leashes, stairs, couches, and toys are all still pretty foreign to her. But regardless, it’s clear as day that she wants nothing more than to be loved. She's a full-on velcro dog in training. In fact, she gets so excited to see her people that she can be a bit of a (tiny) bull in a china shop, which is pretty entertaining to watch. She's already discovered the magic of belly rubs, has logged some respectable morning zoomies, and likes to curiously nose around the toy bin. That said, Valve is still building the kind of confidence that lets a dog just...exist comfortably. She sometimes “pancakes” when approached, but it doesn't stop her from wanting love and attention anyway. She’s just now learning that people are safe, after all. Her foster parent believes that in a couple more weeks, she'll be a completely different dog. Valve is going to need a home that's genuinely excited about being part of her journey. That means everything from loving her presence to being patient with potty training to being committed to ongoing confidence-building. A fenced yard would be a dream for this girl, and a calm, confident dog companion could make a world of difference, too. Older children who can appreciate Valve’s boundaries would probably be best, if any. -----
