Story
Animal Profile: Ramen is an estimated 6 year old, 15 lb neutered male miniature poodle who was a hot mess when he was pulled from the Carson shelter. He was at risk due to overcrowding at the shelter but assessed to be friendly with people and dogs. We will share more about him as we get to know him in foster care.  Foster Update: Ramen may be small in stature, but he's packed full of personality, brains, and just the right amount of spice. This cool cup of noodles is an active, intelligent dog who thrives when he has a job to do and someone to learn alongside. Since entering foster care, Ramen has been an impressive student. He's crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on leash. More than anything, he loves to learn. His foster family and trainer have discovered that Ramen is incredibly smart and eager to work, picking up new skills and commands with remarkable speed. He was recently introduced to odor detection work, and his trainer described him as a natural. Give Ramen a challenge, and he'll happily rise to meet it. Ramen is fully e-collar trained through Nirvana K9 Training, giving him a strong foundation in structure, communication, and reliable off-leash responsiveness with the right handler. Ramen isn't looking for a life spent lounging on the couch. While he enjoys spending time with his people, he tends to show affection through play, training, and shared activities rather than being a traditional lap dog. He's happiest when his mind is engaged and his day includes opportunities to learn, explore, and work alongside his person. Like many thoughtful dogs, Ramen can take a little time to warm up to new people. He tends to be more trusting of women initially, but with patience and positive interactions, he can build strong relationships with those he comes to know. Because of his preferences and comfort level, he would do best in an adult-only home. Ramen is dog friendly and would likely enjoy a canine companion who matches his energy and play style. He would be especially well-suited to a similarly sized female dog around his age. Ramen has also shown some resource-guarding tendencies with high-value toys. His trainer is actively working with him on these behaviors, and he is making progress. Because of this, he is looking for an experienced owner who understands canine behavior, is comfortable continuing his training, and can provide clear, consistent guidance. The ideal home for Ramen is one that appreciates a dog who is both intelligent and engaging—a home that will continue exercising not just his body, but also his remarkable mind. In return, Ramen will offer endless entertainment, unwavering loyalty, and the special satisfaction that comes from partnering with a dog who genuinely loves to learn. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. Ramen's adoption also includes take home training and support from Nirvana K9 Training. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.   Apply online at  www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: Ramen was surrendered to Carson city shelter and transported to Dog Gone Seattle via Wiggle Butts arriving to foster care on 5/19/24; he is available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. June 18, 2026, 7:07 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Jeffrey! Jeffrey showed up as a stray, wandering around on his own and looking a little lost. No one came forward to claim him, so now he's ready to find a family that will never let him wonder where he belongs again. We believe Jeffrey is a Poodle mix, and he'll need regular grooming and brushing to keep his coat from becoming matted. With proper coat care, he'll stay looking handsome and feeling comfortable. Jeffrey is an active, playful boy who enjoys having fun and being around people. He can get a little carried away when he's excited and may give playful "love bites," so he would do best in a home with older, considerate children who understand how to interact appropriately with dogs. He does great with every dog he meets and seems to enjoy canine company. We are unsure how he would do with cats. Jeffrey is neutered, 4DX negative, vaccinated, microchipped, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. His adoption fee is $500. To apply to adopt Jeffrey, visit www.adoggie4you.org. Jeffrey is currently in Texas but can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and along the East Coast. If transportation is needed, there is an additional $225 transport fee. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, he cannot travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2026, 5:13 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi… I’m Ned. Have you ever wanted a Golden Doodle, but smaller? I look just that! Please read my bio thoroughly. Only available for adoption in Texas. I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a really soft heart. I came here with a few of my companions through a transfer, and I’ll be honest—I’m still learning that the world can be a safe and kind place. I haven’t always had that, so it takes me a little time to trust new people. At first, I might hang back and just watch. I need someone very patient who will let me go at my own pace and not rush me. I need someone who can understand it may take a long time for me to become comfortable around humans, as I have had a rough beginning to life. I will try to run away from you. But I am not aggressive, or have ever tried to bite.  With me being scared, I need you to understand that I will need patience with going outside. I will try to run away, so keep me on a harness until I learn coming back inside on my own is okay. I do feel more confident around other dogs, so a home with another canine is a must. They can help show me that life isn't so bad. I am unsure how I do with cats. Older considerate kids only.  Due to my breed, I’ll also need regular grooming, but I’ve been very good for it here. Each time I will even relax in someone’s lap while they are taking care of me… I think that shows I do want to trust—I just need a little time to get there. I do want to be upfront about my health—I’m heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. I’m neutered, up to date on all my vaccines and prevention, and microchipped, so I’m ready when the right person comes along. My adoption fee is $400. If you think you might be my person, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org. Due to me being scared and nervous, I am not an option for out-of-state transport, and must remain in Texas. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 18, 2026, 5:13 pm

Story
Meet Lumi! This adorable approximately 3.5-year-old Poodle mix is packed full of personality, affection, and fun. Lumi is the perfect combination of playful companion and cuddle buddy. He believes in giving 100% effort to everything he does, whether that's wrestling with his dog friends, exploring the yard, or snuggling up for a well-earned nap. Lumi is a social little guy who loves playing with other dogs, especially those his own size. He would thrive in a home with a canine companion who enjoys a good game of chase or wrestling. Despite his enthusiasm, Lumi is a gentleman and takes corrections well from other dogs, especially the ladies. When playtime is over, Lumi transforms into a total lovebug. He adores people and is happiest when he's close to his humans soaking up attention, belly rubs, and cuddles. His friendly, outgoing personality makes him a joy to have around. Lumi is also cat-friendly and has several good house manners already in place. He knows how to use a doggy door, is crate trained, and appreciates a soft, cozy dog bed where he can recharge after a busy day of fun. One look at Lumi's adorable little smile and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with him. To help keep that smile healthy and comfortable, Lumi is already scheduled for a dental procedure on June 23rd. Opal – Professional Cuddler Seeking a Forever Lap ❤️ Meet Opal, an approximately 5-year-old Poodle mix whose favorite hobbies include snuggling, napping, and being as close to her people as possible. If you're looking for a sweet, quiet companion rather than a high-energy adventure buddy, Opal may be your perfect match! Opal is a gentle soul who enjoys the simple things in life: soft dog beds, cozy blankets, chew bones, and quality cuddle time. She gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats, making her an easy addition to many households. She is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in her crate. One of Opal's most endearing features is her adorable crooked little smile. It only adds to her charm and perfectly matches her sweet, loving personality. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I’m Sadie. I came into rescue with a group of dogs, including my two nursing puppies, after our owner was cited by the city for having too many dogs. Life hadn’t been very easy for me — I arrived severely matted and covered in fleas and ticks — but through it all, I never stopped being sweet. Everyone who meets me talks about how calm and gentle I am. I have a mellow personality, enjoy lap time, and get along well with other dogs. I’m a quiet girl who doesn’t bark much, and I seem to already know the basics of potty training. More than anything, I just want a peaceful home where I can finally relax and be loved the way every dog deserves. I’m spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. My adoption fee is $400. Due to my breed, I will need regular grooming.  I’m in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Unfortunately, I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts because of state regulations.
