Betsy is a 35 lbs mutt, we adopted her in 2020. We were told she was about 2 years old at the time of adoption, which makes her about 8 years old now. We also adopted a second dog in 2022 and they have been living together with no issues for 4 years. However, recently they started to fight each other, looks like it’s resource guarding. Mostly it’s the other dog that initiates the fights. At this point they both need a home where they will be the only pet and can feel safe in their home. It is the hardest decision that we have to make especially since Betsy is a very loving, but also a quite independent dog - she has a couple of spots in the house where she prefers to stay, she comes to check that we’re home and returns to her spot in the bedroom or just lay next to us on the couch. She loves car rides, long sniffing walks or when we take her down to the beach and let her run on a long leash. She is a very good walker, never pulls and does not care for other dogs.

Louna is a healthy and energetic pup. She is a loving, loyal and wonderful dog that just gets a little overwhelmed of the world around her. She loves running in the grass, swimming in lakes and oceans, and snuggling on the couch. Sadly, she gets anxious in the city, and very reactive with other dogs when she’s on the leash (yet befriends them when she’s running freely), and will sometimes bark at random strangers on the streets. She does have some dog besties, but she’s picky and territorial. Louna needs a stable home with proper training, experienced owners, access to nature, and an abundance of love. If you think you can give her all of that, Louna will be an amazing fit for you.

Beatrice was born in April 2020 in Texas and came to NYC with her mother and littermates. We adopted her on 6/20/20 through BARKK, an arm of Pet Finder. Bea was sweet, snuggly and loving and quickly learned sit/down/stay. We want Bea to be in a loving calm environment. Once she gets to know you, and is comfortable, she is very sweet and loving. She loves to run for balls/toys and loves to be petted.

Chloe is a 7 year old pitbull boxer mix! She is one of the most cuddly sweet dogs I’ve ever met and my family is sad to let her go. In recent years she’s shown reactivity to dogs while outside on walks, this is manageable especially doing one on one walks with her. She understands commands such as sit, stay, lay down. She absolutely loves to play and run around. The only reason we’re seeking rehoming her is because she has shown random occasional reactivity to our elder dog. Chloe would be perfect for anyone without other pets that would appreciate a very loving and attentive animal.
