Story
Odin is a super mushy baby boy! He was adopted and then returned because of where they lived and then adopted and returned because they got a puppy! How wrong! He wakes up and needs to tinkle right away real quick and then eats and gets walked. He's a little chubby so his food is strict with limited treats. His water is limited to morning with his food and same with dinner. Then we give him a little more before his last walk. He loves to snuggle and whimpers when he wants your love and affection. He is a snorer! Lol. He walks well and loves meeting new people. All who met him say what a handsome and sweet boy he is. He really is the perfect pet. When we got him he was petrified of going down stairs. We think he either fell or was pushed. But with coaxing and support he can do it now! But we suggest a home with limited stairs. Whoever takes him is truly lucky and will be so loved. He deserves a forever home.

Story
We adopted Pop (nickname) a month before we learned we were having twins. We decided to keep him believing that he would be a great big brother to our two forthcoming sons. Unfortunately, three years later, one of our sons has developed asthma and has a serious reaction to his dander, despite us doing our best with a Dyson schedule. Additionally, Mom has recently been diagnosed with early stage cancer and we need to redirect our energy and resources towards this issue. We came to the decision to re-home Pop reluctantly and quite sadly. Pop is an incredible dog, he is patient, funny, great with our kids and great with all other dogs - of all sizes. He has a serious disdain for cats. He walks well, is completely house trained, knows all basics (sit, paw, down, go to bed) and gets loads of compliments for his looks. We are sad to lose him but we know we cannot give him the life that he deserves. Please help us find a new home for Pop.

Story
Meet this sweet 2-3 year-old, 65lbs pup who’s ready to find his forever home! He’s super friendly with other dogs and loves getting attention—whether it’s pats or playtime, he’s all in. While cats may run from him, he’s not the type to chase, so he’ll happily share space without causing any fuss. This gentle soul is great with people, especially kids, and loves a good chew on his toys or bones. He’s not a fan of loud noises but is always excited for walks and outdoor playtime. He’s a social pup who doesn’t enjoy being alone, so he’s looking for a loving family to share his heart with!

Story
Sebastian is a nearly four-year-old dog with a playful spirit, loving nature, and a deep desire for connection. Rehoming him is one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, but my hope is to find him a home where he can truly thrive and be understood. As a puppy, Sebastian survived parvo after early intervention and devoted care. He grew into an energetic, affectionate dog who loves being close to his people and involved in daily life. He is wee-wee pad trained, also goes outside, and enjoys walks. He is not neutered and still has youthful energy. Sebastian enjoys other dogs but needs guidance with socialization. He can be vocal when excited, is deeply affectionate and sometimes clingy, and has a sensitive stomach, so consistency matters. With the right person, he will be a loyal, devoted companion.

While Twinkie is allegedly 15 years old, he has kept his youthful looks and disposition. He is a foster parent’s dream: fully house-trained, great with my dogs, and a pro at sleeping through the night in his crate. Twinkie loves his beauty sleep and prefers being snuggled up in his blankets, but he still enjoys gentle, slow walks around the block and a little bit of playtime with his toys. He can be hesitant about new things—like entering the elevator or transitioning between different surfaces (tiles vs. carpets)—but with gentle encouragement, he is mastering these in no time. Twinkie gets along beautifully with other dogs; he is affectionate and likes to be held, but is also perfectly content relaxing in his bed. Twinkle Toes’ ideal family is one that can provide a steady, calm, and gentle home for him to spend his golden years. If you’re looking for an easy-going sidekick, your search ends here! Twinkie is ready to find a forever home as wonderful as he is.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org. Hello! My name is Gretchen. I'm a native New Yorker; I was adopted from the ASPCA when I was a puppy, and lived with my family until about a month ago when my parent got sick and couldn't care for me anymore. I miss them so much, but I still have a lot of love to give to my new family! Since being with my foster, I've met her boyfriend and her sister. I love meeting people, but I need a second to see if I can trust you. They both gave me belly rubs, so they're great in my book. I am a total homebody so being back in an apartment with my blankie and new friends is amazing. I don't mind staying home alone either! I'll keep the couch warm for you. Don't call me an old dog yet; I'm still strong and sassy and smart! I have a lot of life left in me, and if you're willing to be loyal to me, I'll be the most faithful family member you've ever had.
