Story
I got Merlin in 2018 when he was 3 months old, and he is 7 years now. He's lived with multiple cats, as well as 3 dogs who he has either tolerated or hated. He does better 1-on-1 with other dogs, and prefers female dogs over males. He has a specific diet due to pancreatitis (hence his special needs status). He has food aggression with other animals. Training didn't help, so he eats in his kennel. His kennel is his safe space, and he will nap there instead of on his dog bed usually. He is potty trained and will sit at the door and whine when he needs to go out, or ring a bell if you have hanging bells on the doorknob. He is smart and knows a lot of tricks (sit, stay, lay down, shake with both paws, etc) and is such a sweet and cuddly dog! He likes older kids and LOVES people. Small kids (toddlers mostly) make him very anxious. I had a baby in 2023, and unfortunately he has not taken well to her and now lives completely separated from her and anxious, and I hate to see him this way.

Story
Rosie is Precious and Sweet. She is approximately six years old. She was adopted from the animal shelter in 2020 and was a wonderful companion for my mother until she passed earlier this year. Rosie is kennel trained and potty trained. She is great with children and other dogs. She will go for a walk with you, run around in the backyard or sit next to you and relax. She is currently and should remain an indoor dog. She is not picky and is just happy to be wherever her Human is. She can be shy at first. My daughter describes her best as looking like a black lab that has been "squished".

Luna was found when she was a puppy on the streets with her mom and two brothers. She was gifted to me by my uncle. She is an out side dog but she is smart, she has a trolley system in the yard because she is smart enough to hop the fence. Luna hasn’t socialized much with other dogs so I’m not sure how she will get along other dogs or animals. When we go to get her shot she has been well behaved. She has never bitten anybody but she wearing of strangers. Once she sees you mean her no harm she warms up to you quickly.

Story
Sadie has been a part of our family since she was 7 weeks old. We originally picked her up from a couple who lived out in the country about 2 hours from DFW. Her birthday is February 14, 2021, putting her at just over 4 years old. We love her to pieces, but circumstances have made it difficult recently to keep up with her needs. She is very sweet, social and energetic. She would thrive best in a home with a backyard and at least one other dog and/or someone who can give her a lot more attention than I am able to. Sadie is her happiest when she gets at least 1-2 hours of physical activity a day. She loves trips to The Home Depot, PetSmart and long walks at Trinity Park. Good to know: -Hard to break habit of jumping up on people. -Will pull with the use of a regular collar or body harness, she needs a head collar to minimize pulling. Sadie could use some formal training to improve manners.

This handsome boy is fully trained, up to date on all his vaccinations, and neutered — he’s healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy to a new family. Levi’s favorite things include plush toys, getting his belly rubbed, and being surrounded by love. He’s gentle, affectionate, and has the kindest heart. Letting him go is one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, but I want him to have the best possible life with someone who can give him all the love he deserves.
