Story
Jacob is absolutely the sweetest and loveliest . I adopted him from the Dallas shelter in January 2026. They had no history on him. I am rehoming him because he needs a yard and more space than I can offer. He was fine while I was home, but now that I am having to go to the office five days a week, he is very anxious and unhappy. If I was able to keep him outside, it would be better. He is not aggressive, he is nervous around unknown people and animals, but his first instinct is to try to get away or run away from them. When I adopted him, he was completely traumatized and shut down. He has come out of his shell and made so much progress. He sits right next to me and goes for walks, exploring the neighborhood. He loves to lay on the couchHe is up-to-date on all of his shots. He was heartworm positive when I adopted him, but he has completed all treatments and has had the yearly heartworm shot. I’m convinced his mixed with a herding breed because he tries to herd me and lead me everywhere.

Story
Snickers needs a new home ASAP that can give him individualized love and attention. The family member he came from moved out and refused to take him or his siblings with them, and now we have too many dogs to take care of.Snickers just turned 1 year old. He is playful, energetic, and a little goofy. He is a mixed breed with a very unique body build, including having extra toes on his rear paws. He’s already fixed, vaccinated, and house-trained.He is a very sweet dog, but afraid of strangers and may act aggressive at first when meeting someone new. He gets along with all age groups in our household including a very rambunctious 2 year old, adults, teenagers, and a senior with mobility issues. We’ve tried asking friends, family, and coworkers over the past year if they could adopt him or any of his siblings but have had no luck. We’ve tried contacting animal shelters, but the only one near us that is able to accept pet surrenders told us they would have to euthanize him.

Story
Zeus showed up on our property a year ago. He was wounded so we took him to a local vet for them to clean/treat wounds. He’s microchipped but the owners couldn’t be located so it was transferred to us. I have tried and tried to rehome him as we don’t want a dog right now. We have kids and he is really good with them. He listens and goes potty outside. He sleeps in a kennel because we don’t want him on our furniture. He does have separation anxiety but does really well with us home. He’s shown zero aggression and walks on a leash really well. He gets along with other dogs at dog parks. He hasn’t been around cats but he does bark and chase the feral ones in our rural area. However, in home, he’s not a barker at all. He’s a good dog but our family has reach its max with him, meaning we didn’t want an animal. It’s been a year and I’m really trying to find him a good home. We feel like he would be perfect for a retiree or homebody. Basically someone that’s home most of the time.

Story
Banjo is a very beautiful dog. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. But he is also very shy and scared of strangers. He barks at anyone he doesnt know. It takes a while for him to get comfortable with new people. But once he does hes the sweetest boy. He has never shown any aggression whatsoever. He is just so scared of strangers. He is my dad's dog and my dad is very ill. Hes currently in a nursing home and wont be returning home. I cannot take Banjo as much as I wish I could. He's such a loving dog once he gets to know you. I want him to have a chance at finding a beautiful loving new family. His mother Wendy is also needing a home. Please give Banjo a chance. 🙏🏼

Wendy is a beautiful blue eyed spayed 9 year old female. She has skin allergies. We are not sure if it a food allergy or grass allergy. She has gotten allergy shots in the past that clear up her skin. Her son Banjo is also up for adoption. She is my Dad's dog. My dad's health is not well and he is currently in a nursing home. She is a very sweet dog. She loves for you to scratch her nose. She also enjoys car rides.
