Joey is a very sweet and lovable dog. I rescued him from a patient of mine that had a stroke and was unable to take care of him and he has been with us for three years. Unfortunately, I am pregnant with my second child and I am unable to take care of him while pregnant and I’m afraid I will not be able to take care of him after I give birth. He gets along well with other male dogs and he just wants a lot of love.

Our almost 3-yrold goofball is truly the life of the party.Is house trained, kennel trained, and the world’s best cuddler. He LOVES to sit on the couch behind me and rest his head right on top of mine. He’ll eat anything you put in front of him and anything you leave on the counter, too.He’s not a huge barker unless someone knocks on the door. He gets along perfectly with our other three dogs and loves being part of the action.Fitz is a bull in a china shop! He’s a big, happy, energetic boy who doesn’t realize his own size.Fitz is a bed sleeper. ❤️ He loves nothing more than piling into bed with his people and settling in for the night.Unfortunately, that big personality and enthusiasm are also why we have made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him. My dad is 85 and not stable on his feet.He is one Fitz knock away from a broken hip. He loves our 3 other dogs but has chased xxxx@xxxx.x rehome to a cat-free environment. Must ensure he will be loved before letting him go.

We found Ellie in early November in rural Louisiana & she had clearly been fending for herself for quite some time. She was emaciated, tick-covered, & living off whatever scraps she could find in the woods. Since then, she has blossomed into a healthy 50-lb bundle of pure sweetness. She is extremely affectionate and people-oriented. She is crate trained and housebroken. She walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. Her favorite toy is her large Kong (which she throws & chases herself), & will chew for hours on a large beef bone. She does show some fear responses to loud noises & sudden movements, but that has decreased over time. To make her transition as smooth as possible, her adoption includes a large crate & crate pad, large dog bed, harness, & leash. She would thrive as either a single pet or in a home with other friendly dogs around her size. Unfortunately, our smaller dog doesn't want to share her space which is the only reason why we are trying to find her a new home.

Georgia is a 4.5 year old rescue who's been with us since she was 2 months old. She's goofy, playful, affectionate, and loves her people. She loves swimming, chasing laser pointers, and butt scratches! She is house and crate trained, well behaved at home, and happy to relax when her people are away. She can be anxious during big transitions and will need patience adjusting to a new home. Once she trusts you, she’s incredibly loving and snuggly. Georgia CANNOT live with female dogs. She has had serious fights with females in the home that caused significant injuries. She does wonderfully with male dogs that are her size or larger, or as an only dog. We recommend no young children as she can get overwhelmed and may give a warning nip if frightened. She has never bitten anyone. We’re expecting a baby and can no longer safely manage the conflicts with our other female dog. This is heartbreaking as we love her dearly and want her to find the loving home she deserves!

Honey was a stray that was found with her mother and littermates. She is about 4 months old and is silly, loving, and loves to play with my older dog. She walks around the house wagging her little tail like she's just happy to be alive. She is crate trained but prefers to be around her humans. She sometimes prances around and jumps like a kangaroo which makes us laugh. She is great with my 7 year old. She is very food motivated which makes it easy to teach her new things. She loves ear scratches and will let you rub her belly if you are special enough.

Hi there. This happy boy is Buster. He is almost 5 years old. He is super sweet, cuddly and playful. We got him from a neighbor, when he was 4 months, in California. I'm looking for a home that can give buster the attention he needs. He has high energy so a house with a big yard and or someone that will take him for runs. He was use to being on the couch and bed before we had our baby so he love's cuddles and or just to be near his humans. He is good with older kids but not young ones that he can knock down, unless you can train him not to jump. He does have grass/weed allergies but baths and a shot helps, only cost $50 every 2 months. He is good with other dogs, loves to be chased. I hope to find him a home that is loving, and has the time and energy for him that he deserves.

Griffin is 6 years old and we adopted him 5 years ago from the Grand Prairie Animal Shelter. Griffin is good with kids and other dogs in the right environment. We are looking to re-home because we have a young child who requires a lot of attention and there unfortunately isn’t enough attention for Griffin. We are hoping he goes to a loving home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. He loves to sit and relax on the couch and go out for walks or play in the backyard.

Mookie adopted name was Rory adopted them from the Dallas Humane Society and he is the most adorable dog he is so nice and calm doesn’t bark unless he wants attention or treats. Mookie is potty trained he will sit by the door to let you know he needs to go outside and will come sit in front of you unless you acknowledge him. He loves blue berries strawberries and watermelon!! Are his favorite! He is a big boy and very friendly doesn’t bark at any other dog or person he rather cry to play and get to know them.Mookie loves his naps and to be pet and plays fetch and walks by the lake.
