Story
Urgent: help rehome Shiloh — a sweet, 11-year-old lab mix • Why: Former owner (my MIL) has advanced Alzheimer’s; our family caring for MIL needs a permanent home for the dog outside our immediate network. We want to honor MILs love for the dog and find a good home. • About Shiloh: 48 lb, gentle, healthy; recent vet visit; vaccines and flea prevention current. • Ideal home: Quiet, adult home; no toddlers. Startles and has scratched if touched from behind. Not crate-trained; prefers company and may scratch if left alone all day. • Temperament: Affectionate, respectful, low-maintenance. Sitter says she’s a great companion for homebodies and empty nesters; can be left for a few hours; happy to pet-sit occasionally if local to irving • Timing: We need to place her soon for the sake of family members caring for my MIL

Story
This is Jett (Jetty Boy); a 5-year-old, 65 lb Lab mix with a heart full of love and the sweetest temperament you could ask for. Jett came into our lives through my daughter’s volunteer time at a shelter, but she is heading off to college and unfortunately can’t take him with her. I recently took on another job role that requires frequent travel in an effort to help support her education, and it’s made it difficult to give Jett the time and stability he deserves. Jett is incredibly affectionate and loyal; all he really wants is to be near people who love him. He gets excited and curious when meeting new people, but he settles down quickly and just wants to be close by. He’s been friendly with kids we meet on walks though he hasn’t lived with young children. Jett is an indoor dog and would do best in a home with a yard and someone who can give him attention, companionship, and a consistent routine. This decision is incredibly hard, but I know another super loving home is out there.

Story
Buddy is the sweetest dog I could have ever asked for. I adopted him from a shelter since he was scheduled for euthanasia , and I’ve been in love with him ever since. He absolutely loves people, enjoys cuddling, and has the kindest, most affectionate personality. He’s great with other dogs and always wants to make new friends. Unfortunately, despite all of his wonderful qualities, he doesn’t seem to get along with my cats. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I want to do what’s best for him and for my cats. I’m looking for a loving home with no cats where Buddy can get all the attention, love, and time he deserves. He would thrive with someone who can give him plenty of affection, companionship, and the happy life he deserves.

Story
Has been with us since he was about 6 weeks old. Due to our current life and need to move to an apartment, no pets are allowed nor can I be home to take care of him starting August 1st. He is up to date with everything and super sweet. Not the smartest but loving. He has some skin bumps that have already been checked out but they seem to be there to stay. No issues really from them. He needs a full dental cleaning with sedation but his liver enzymes were high at last check.

Story
These boys are father (Louis, 5) and son (JJ, 3). They have a very close bond with each other. These boys are the absolute sweetest dogs you could ever imagine. Their original owner fell into the grips of addiction and was no longer able to care for them properly. She ended up homeless and on the streets with them and things got to a point where she could not feed them or care for them properly. Their last owner surrendered them to me and with the gracious help of a boarding facility, they have been vaccinated, well fed, and cared for ever since. Although being in a boarding facility is an improvement from their last situation, they deserve a loving home. They are potty trained, leash trained, fun to play with, they love to cuddle, and they desperately want to be somebody’s family members. Although they have been through hard times, you wouldn’t know it based on their personalities. They are outstandingly well behaved and aim to please. These boys are amazing creatures.

Story
Loving and incredibly loyal rescue dog looking for a great home. He is mostly Great Pyrenees mixed with other breeds and truly lives up to the saying “man’s best friend.” Rehoming him is very difficult, and if I could keep him, I absolutely would, but I am moving and can no longer provide the home he deserves. He can be shy and skittish around new people at first, but once he trusts you, he is extremely affectionate, devoted, and protective. He forms strong bonds and will make an amazing companion for someone patient and caring. He is fully house trained, well-behaved indoors, and up to date on all shots. He will also come with plenty of toys and approximately two months’ worth of food to help with his transition.Looking for a safe, stable, and loving home where he will be treated like family and given the care and patience he deserves.
