Mutt

Female, Puppy
Watauga, TX
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Arden is a loving pup around 8 months old. She would do best living in a household where she has space to run outside with her balls, especially a fenced in space to zoom around in. She lives with cats currently and has only shown curiosity to know them, even when they are less than kind to her. Weigh children, she’s excited to play with them and loves their pets and pats. She sleeps in her crate through the night. She loves getting, and showing, affection with her people. While we adopted her planning to be her forever home we are no longer able to give her the life she deserves due to changes in our household. If you want a pup who will love you unconditionally Arden is an amazing companion.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
These two dogs were found on a Sunday in Texas after their beloved owner, who had cared for them their entire lives, could no longer do so due to dementia and had to be placed into a care facility. During that difficult transition, the dogs were left without consistent care and were later found without collars and underweight. When a car door was opened, they climbed in together, trusting that it meant safety. They were taken to a nearby vet and by an incredible coincidence it had been their vet home for years. The staff recognized them immediately and confirmed their history. Shortly after, the owners daughter formally relinquished ownership. Now, these bonded senior dogs are looking for a new place to land, one filled with patience, comfort, and love.

Indy has been living with an elderly man for the last 6 or so years. He loves to play fetch with a ball and can't get enough pets. He is a well trained dog, but his owner fell and broke his hip about a week ago and will not be able to continue to care for a pet.

Story
Sadie is 5 years old and she has been with us since she was about 7 weeks old. Recent living and employment changes have made it nearly impossible to keep up with her needs and she is in need of immediate rehoming to a family who would be a better fit for her. She is very sweet, social and highly energetic. She would thrive best in a home with a backyard and someone who can give her a lot more attention than I am able to at this time. She loves trips to The Home Depot, PetSmart and long walks at the park. If you want a dog to greet you excitedly every time you come home like you've been gone for months, look no further. You will be her favorite part of the day every time you come home for at least 5-10 minutes. She is great with kids, cats and other dogs. Can be protective. Feels threatened by outside noises, huskies, people wearing hoods/hats/helmets, people on carts, motorcycles, bicycles, 4 wheelers, etc. Not recommended for the elderly or those with anxiety or PTSD.

Story
Bones is a sweetheart. He is 14 months old. His destructive chewing has crossed one bridge too far with me, and he needs a new home with a patient owner. I was hoping he would out-grow the chewing, but I have out-grown my patience with him. His shots are up to date, but they are due soon. He has not been neutered. He walks well on a leash. He can eat out of the same bowl with our other dog, and they have never gotten aggressive with each other, so he should play well with your dog too. I need to stress that no furniture, sofa, dog bed, sheetrock wall or baseboard is safe from Bones. He will destroy your home, but he's so sweet!
