Story
Hey there! My name is Point, and I’m a 4-year-old English Pointer girl, weighing about 25kg. I might have had a rough start in life—I was rescued from an abandoned chicken coop, where I spent my early years without much human touch. But let me tell you, those days are long behind me! Since my rescue, I’ve learned so much! I may have started a little late, but I’m super smart and quick to learn. I’ve mastered basic commands like sit, wait, and go to my crate, and I absolutely love training—especially if there’s a treat or a ball involved! Speaking of balls… I LOVE to play! Throw me a ball or a frisbee, and you’ll see the happiest dog ever. I can run, jump, and fetch all day long! I’ve got the energy and skills for agility or frisbee games, and I dream of having a family who will run and play with me. I’m a friendly and affectionate girl who adores people. I get so excited to meet new friends that I might jump up to say hello—but don’t worry, I’m working on my manners! I just can’t help it—I love people so much! The more time we spend together, the happier I am. I’m also great with other dogs, big or small. Even if another dog tries to take my favorite ball, I don’t mind—I’m happy to share! I have a gentle and patient nature, and I don’t have any aggression at all. But here’s the thing—I’m an active dog with lots of energy. I need at least two hours of exercise a day, and I’d love a yard where I can run freely. If I don’t get enough playtime, I might get a little restless, so keeping me busy with fun activities (like snuffle toys or puzzles) will make me the best companion ever! I’m still learning and growing, but with a patient and loving family, I know I can be the most amazing dog. If you love outdoor adventures, enjoy playing, and want a best friend who will always be by your side, I think we’d be a perfect match!

Story
FosterMeet Perry (6 months, 32 lbs) & Raven (6 months, 30 lbs) — a playful, affectionate brother-sister duo with German Shepherd and German Shorthair Pointer roots. Rescued from a neglectful hoarding case, these two have made an incredible transformation in foster care. They love river walks, park adventures, chasing balls (they’re still working on bringing it back ), and cozy kennel naps. Perry is the confident big brother with a classic German Shepherd look and a brown undercoat that sparkles in the sun.‍ Raven is sleek, stunning, and fearless—right in the mix with the boys!&#226&#156&#133 Kennel trained&#226&#156&#133 Social with other dogs&#226&#156&#133 Working with their neighbor/trainer on “sit” and “shake”&#226&#156&#133 Learning leash manners&#226&#156&#133 Total lovebugs! They’re happy, energetic, and full of life—ready to bring adventure, joy, and plenty of tail wags to their forever home.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Quick Facts  Name: Emma Age: 3 years old  Gender: Female Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Pointer Mix Color: Black & White Spotty Weight: 21kg   All About MeHello!! My human friends!! I am Emma, an energetic Pointer mix aged 3. I am a lovely girl with warm heart and brightness. However, people did not know me, and I was on the list of euthanasia at the city shelter. Fortunately, a kind rescuer saved me, and here I am. Now, I am sooooo ready to meet my lovy dovy happy family.   My PersonalityI am very bright girl with full of charming energy. I love people’s attention and being petted. When meeting new people, my tail does not stop wagging and my ears get flat with happiness. My handler said that it was so difficult to take a picture of me with proper ear shape because they got flat all the time when I was with people. I really enjoy being companion with people and I assertively approach to them to be petted. If you rub my belly, I will melt down immediately for more petting.   Social SkillsI am very good with new doggie friends. I usually say hi gently to them and then, just mind my own business. I can share treats with them and smell out each other to get to know. Though I am more interested in people and exploring new environments.   Energy and ActivitiesOutdoor activities and exercising are my favorite things. As I am a Pointer, I need to consume my energy properly. Otherwise, I may get stressed out. I also need to take my potty break outside, so regular strolling is essential for me. I may get excited when I go for walk and pull on leash a bit but this should be settle down soon with some training, for sure. If you need a companion who can enjoy a lot of energetic activities together, I am here for you.   Special NotesIf you see me, you will instantly realize how adorable I am. I have bright energy and easy-going personality. Let me spread my happy virus to you. We can have lots of fun adventures together!!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Emma's YouTube Playlist ##2260909##

Story
Welcome Plexie to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Plexie is a 2.5 year old Pointer/Lab is our best guess. She has beautiful markings and a lower coat and isn’t a big shedder. She is being fostered by a good Samaritan. She has 10 beautiful and very robust puppies. She is a great momma dog and she is very sweet to all people. She is friendly with the teen children in the home where she is now staying. She is good with other dogs and nice to strangers. She was relatively quiet at the Rescue and she is good on a leash. She is good in a car ride and knows sit command. She is also potty trained, vaccinated, healthy and ready for her forever home. She is a nice sized dog at about 65 pounds. We will spay her as soon as she fully dries up and she will be ready for her forever home. She did a good job when we clipped her toenails and didn’t have any reaction. She will make a great companion pet for a family. We think she will be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is very tolerant to all the puppies and we honestly cannot see any negative thing about this amazing dog. She is currently in Texas and she can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See her cute video.

Story
This sweet young English Pointer mix (and yes, her name is Birdie for a reason!) is as lovable as she is playful. Weighing in at 38 pounds, Birdie is already potty trained, crate trained, active and healthy. She’s a fetch enthusiast and will happily chase after anything you throw—though she’s still working on bringing it back every time! She's great on a leash and can entertain herself for hours in a fenced yard. Birdie is a social butterfly who gets along great with other dogs, whether big or small. She warms up to everyone very quickly, especially when she realizes you're her new best friend. She would also be great with older kids. Birdie is smart, affectionate, and sweet. She’s got a laid-back side too — if you let her, she’d happily curl up next to you for hours. This brave little pup was found on Christmas Eve on a cold and rainy night in Texas. She was found abandoned by a boat with fireworks going off nearby. She was so scared that she jumped right into her foster’s EV, ready to find safety and love! Since then, she’s blossomed into a happy, affectionate companion who can’t wait to find her forever family. If you're looking for a smart, loving, and playful pup to bring joy to your home, Birdie Bean just might be the one for you! We can drive this pup to your area! If you like this cutie and please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup! Here's the link: www.friendsfurliferescue.org/adoption-application Please copy/paste the above link into your browser ^ Our transport can take this pup to any of the above locations. (YES we also adopt to Canada! Please note: adoption fee is in US dollars.) There is NO transport fee, or any extra fees. All is included in the adoption fee. Thank you!
