Story
With a name like Champion Blue, you might expect a superstar...and this little guy sure lives up to it! At 10 years old and 17 pounds, Champion Blue has already overcome a lot in life, having been abandoned at a shelter simply for being a senior with a few minor medical needs. Thankfully, the shelter reached out to us to take him in and now he's ready to find the forever home he’s been dreaming of.Don’t let his age fool you Champion Blue has a spark of mischief and energy that will make you smile every day. He takes daily gabapentin for arthritis and an anti-inflammatory to keep him comfortable, but that doesn’t stop him from zooming across the room for treats, toys, or just to join the action. He’s a little wobbly on his feet sometimes, but his heart is full of courage, curiosity, and pure joy.Champion Blue loves the simple pleasures in life: cuddles on the couch, gentle pets, and long, lazy lounging sessions where he can soak up all the attention. But don’t be surprised if the quiet is broken by a sudden burst of playful zoomies or a funny little hop - he’s silly, spunky, and completely charming. He gets along with other dogs, especially calm companions who understand his pace, and he’s ready to share his home with someone who will adore him and help him age gracefully. Champion Blue’s perfect match is a quiet household, filled with love, patience, and lots of lap time. He may be a senior, but his heart is young, and he’s ready to be your loyal, goofy, and utterly lovable sidekick. He may have had a rough start, but his next chapter will be the happiest yet! Could you be the hero to his story? Please inquire today!

Story
Wezley is about 4 years old, just over 20 pounds, and fully aware that he has opinions. He came to us after being relinquished because he started resource guarding his previous owner from her husband. Wezley takes his people very seriously, what can he say! In the right home, this is something that can be worked on. He is currently on medication for anxiety, and with structure, training, and continued socialization, he has a lot of potential to improve. Now that you know the serious part, here’s the real Wezley:He is a velcro pug in the truest sense. He wants to be near his person, always. He loves cuddles, sunshine, car rides, walks, running around, and rolling in grass like it’s his job. Then he’ll flip the switch and happily go off to sleep on his own like nothing happened. He also knows a ton of cues already: sit, stay, down, spin, roll, speak, wait, shake, outside, and all variations of “food” and “treat.” He is very smart and very food motivated, which is a big advantage for continued training. He does have some things he’s not a fan of, including nail trims, ear cleaning, loud noises, some male humans, and some larger dogs. So he’ll do best with structure, clear boundaries, and someone who understands dog body language and management.Since being with us, Wezley has actually done well with other dogs and all the people he's met! He can groom and relax with other dogs and enjoys being part of a calmer group energy. He also really likes people and is very into attention and belly rubs once he trusts you.Wezley is a lot of dog in a small body. Smart, affectionate, intense about his people, and full of personality. He’s not a beginner dog, but in the right home, he’s going to be deeply loyal and very attached to his person. He knows exactly who he is. Now he just needs someone who’s ready for that! Could that be you? Please inquire today!

Story
Meet Yeti! Like the Abominable Snowman, but way more interested in cuddles than chaos, this Yeti is about 3 years old, 28 pounds, and originally came to us after being found as a stray. Now that he’s safe, he’s ready for the part where life gets good. This boy is a really nice mix of sweet, silly, and easygoing. He does great with other dogs, likes people, and has a gentle, friendly way about him that makes him easy to be around. He’s also pretty smart and has a soft little personality that shows more and more as he gets comfortable. Most of the time, Yeti is on the calmer side and just happy to hang out, go for walks, and be included in whatever you’re doing. He’s the type of dog who kind of just appears next to you like, “hey, what’s the plan?”He does have a little habit of getting overly enthusiastic in play with other dogs, which he’s working through, and he will be neutered soon which should help with that.Yeti also has limited vision in one eye, but you would barely know it watching him move around. He navigates life just fine and doesn’t let it slow him down. One thing that will really help him thrive is a home committed to helping him get to a healthy weight so he can feel his best and live a long, comfortable life. He enjoys walks and light play, and he’s very cooperative about just about everything. Yeti is sweet, low-drama, and genuinely just a good little guy who wants a person to stick with. Think he might be the boy for you? Please inquire today!

Marta is about 5 years old, 14 pounds, and basically operates like a little love machine with legs. She was found as a stray and came to us with some medical issues that made it clear she hadn’t had the easiest time before. All four of her paw pads were infected and her eyes were dry and irritated. With treatment and care, she’s been healing really well and is feeling much more comfortable now!And her personality is honestly the complete opposite of her rough start. Marta is extremely affectionate. Like, very affectionate. She has a habit of giving nonstop kisses once she decides you’re hers, and she does not seem interested in stopping on her own. If you sit with her, she is on you. If you’re nearby, she is trying to be on you. She’s also playful and a little silly, especially with other dogs. She enjoys having friends to run around with and does best with dogs that are up for interaction and play. She’s food motivated, eager to please, and really responsive when you work with her. But more than anything, she just wants attention and closeness with her people. Whatever you give her, she gives right back in full.Marta would do best in a home where someone is around often. She really thrives on connection and doesn’t do well being left out of things for long periods. She’s sweet, affectionate, a little goofy, and very people-focused in the best way. If you sit down, expect kisses. Lots of them. Does she sound like your kind of girl? Please inquire today!

Story
Meet Bentley, a charming 10-year-old gentleman who is looking for a loving forever home. Bentley's previous owner had to move to a memory care facility, and her daughter has been taking care of him since. Unfortunately, she isn't able to keep him long-term, so we are hoping to find Bentley a new family to share his golden years with.Bentley is up to date on all his shots and is neutered. He has a special fondness for the outdoors, so a home with a yard or a family that enjoys spending time outside would be perfect for him. Bentley might need a little refresher on house training, but with patience and consistency, he'll settle in nicely. This sweet boy gets along well with female dogs and would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention or have a gentle female companion. Bentley's gentle nature and love for outdoor activities make him an ideal companion for a family looking for a loyal and loving pet.If you're ready to give Bentley the loving home he deserves, please inquire today!

Story
Scoby is a 7-year-old, 20-pound pup who came to us as a stray. Life hasn’t been easy for him - his past shows in his cautious nature, and he can be reactive at times. He does have a bite history, which tells us he had to navigate a world where he couldn’t always trust people. But here’s the amazing part: despite everything he’s been through, Scoby is capable of trust, love, and loyalty.Once he feels safe and knows he’s in a stable, calm environment, Scoby’s sweet, affectionate side shines through. Treats, gentle encouragement, and a patient hand are all it takes to help him feel secure, and he’s surprisingly quick to warm up when he realizes he’s safe. He has a strong personality, but underneath it is a dog who wants nothing more than to be loved and to belong.Scoby would do best in a home without small children and as the only dog, where he can take his time learning to relax and feel confident. With the right family, he can thrive and show the kind of loyalty and devotion that only a dog who’s fought so hard for survival can give. He’s ready to leave the uncertainty of his past behind and step into a future full of love, comfort, and safety. This boy has been through a lot, but he still has so much love to give. With patience and consistency Scoby will become a true companion who rewards your trust with affection, playfulness, and that loyal presence only a dog like him can offer. Could you be the one to give him that second chance? Please inquire today!
