Please contact that rescue directly at 530-304-7629  Hearts and Paws Rescue has this to say about this happy fellow:'Subway, who likely is about 5 years old, was on the euthanasia list at the Yolo County Shelter due to kennel reactivity and 'a dislike of dogs.' Once Subway came to the farm, it was clear that he was no couch potato and is actually a super play dog to all dogs, big and small. He LOVES all people. He is super social and friendly, wanting to meet everyone he sees. He has a great recall and is great on a leash. 'What is he?? That is anyone's guess, but the basset in him is clear. He isn't chunky; he is just big boned. Subway especially loves big friendly dogs and he is quick to play and just as quick to poop out after play. He is very comforatble and appropriate being left for long peridos of time, expecially if he has a playmate or a large enclosure of his own. He is great in the house,  sleeps soundly and he is housetrained. He is very bonded with my son and likes big men best. 'Subway is obsessed with cats, so no cats for Subway. He is great around horses. For Subway, the bigger, the kinder and gentler, and the more exercise he gets, the better he becomes. He needs and desires lots of outside time and another okay dog in his life is ideal. He would make a great compaion dog to a breed like the Belgian Malinois or herding dog who can outrun and outplay him. Meet me at the mobile adoption event on Saturday, March 7th at Woodlands Pet Food & Treats Tiburon from 12-3pm (unless adopted before 3pm). An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event. Pippa is a darling Pug mix gal that had the luck to grow up with her sister, Bree and her Mom, Lucy! All three gals had oodles of quality time getting coddled and socialized in their foster homes. She is very people oriented and like most Pugs, love to be around their people at all times. She's still quite young and has plenty of good dog lessons to learn and lots of playtime to experience. She should be a joy to raise into a life long companion, Pippa couldn't be any more loving and dedicated! Primary Color: Black Weight: 4.8 Age: 0yrs 0mths 10wks

An onsite sign-in sheet will open one hour before the event. Be prepared to have this little lady steal your heart. This pocket pug loves everyone, is fabulous on a leash, loves to go on walks, rides in a car happily, follows you everywhere and stares deeply into your eyes with the most warm, gooey stare that melts your heart. If you're into yoga, this little girl will lend a paw: she can sit on your back to provide an extra 10 lb in plank, curl up on your chest in floor poses or rest calmly on your belly in relaxation poses. And did I mention her gooey stare that melts your heart? That all happens while you're doing yoga.. what a way to relax! Lucy is very playful, fetching her favorite toy (currently a rubber shrimp) multiple times. She's very energetic and loves her zoomies, but she can go from 100mph to zero, oh in about 10-15 minutes but will rest next to you or even inside your sweatshirt for long periods. She's also quite fond of her crate and will rest in there voluntarily. She loves people, children and other dogs but can be a little fierce across the fence defending her territory. She'll need some guidance to temper her passion at the fence, but has listened and learned already. She wants to please.
