(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Exuberant Mr. Pickles loves to play, play, play! He has a gorgeous wiry coat and eyes that look to you for connection. He is a happy and confident high-energy pup who appreciates a game of fetch, chewing on kongs, and going for walks where he can take in all the sights and sounds. He is a little barky when he sees other dogs on walks, but is redirected pretty easily. He is learning what it's like to live in a home and is making good progress with crate training and potty training. The cutest thing about Mr. Pickles is his pug-like face on a lanky terrier body - he has such a unique look! He is also known to try to climb up on his foster's lap during meetings, as he loves giving affection. There are dogs of all sizes in Mr. Pickles' foster home and he does great with the whole crew, although he can get a little rambunctious during play. Mr. Pickles would make a great addition to a person or family looking for an active and energetic pup to accompany them on all of life's adventures. We love Grin's crooked smile and his super-soft fur. Grin is about 8 years old and currently a bit over 16 pounds. He loves people and is super affectionate with his person; he loves to cuddle and would like a home where he is allowed on the bed. That said, he is not needy and he is crate trained and will sleep quietly all night in his crate. Grin needs an adult home. &#226&#128&#139Grin seems like a cross between a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) and another breed. He has some of the looks of a Puggle, but not all. Grin lives with 3 other dogs and is great with them. He plays well with his foster sisters and respects the senior dog in the house. He would do fine with other dogs, or as an only dog. He is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He does need a home with a private yard or patio. Grin doesn't pull on leash and is great on neighborhood walks where other dogs are also on leash. He will bark at off-leash dogs that run towards him, his foster is working on this and he is doing very well, but he does not do well in off-leash dog parks. He is fine meeting new dogs in his home or their home, and has made friends with some dogs he has met on walks (the key is when their people give him treats). If you are looking for love, Grin may be the guy you are looking for. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs.
