Story
Rosie Posey has been a wonderful, devoted mom to her six puppies, and now she’s ready to find a forever home of her own. She’s fun, playful, and full of charm, with a personality that will keep you smiling every day. Rosie will thrive in a patient, loving home that can continue working on her training. She's nearly mastered potty training, but sometimes likes to pee on soft things indoors, and is still working on her leash training. She's manageable but does pull and will greet people by jumping on them, just because she's so enthusiastic and friendly with everyone! Rosie's foster reports he’s playful and gentle with kids and other dogs. She's loving and social and will greet you with a hug in the morning. She loves to follow her people everywhere, and will definitely sit in your lap whenever possible. If you're looking for a friendly, playful and loyal companion, Rosie is your girl! Story
We love Grin's crooked smile  and his super-soft fur. Grin is about 8 years old and currently a bit over 16 pounds. He loves people and is super affectionate with his person; he loves to cuddle and would like a home where he is allowed on the bed. That said, he is not needy and he is crate trained and will sleep quietly all night in his crate. Grin needs an adult home. &#226&#128&#139Grin seems like a cross between a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) and   another breed. He has some of the looks of a Puggle, but not all. Grin lives with 3 other dogs and is great with them. He plays well with his foster sisters and respects the senior dog in the house. He would do fine with other dogs, or as an only dog. He is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He does need a home with a private yard or patio. Grin doesn't pull on leash and is great on neighborhood walks where other dogs are also on leash. He will bark at off-leash dogs that run towards him, his foster is working on this and he is doing very well, but he does not do well in off-leash dog parks. He is fine meeting new dogs in his home or their home, and has made friends with some dogs he has met on walks (the key is when their people give him treats). If you are looking for love,  Grin may be the guy you are looking for.    Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Grin is $200. If you are interested in adopting Grin, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. See our other available dogs at  https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/available-dogs/ March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Boris! I’m a super social, happy playful dog who LOVES playing with other dogs. I really like my bestie and neighbor, Mark, but I also like playing with Brio, Wish, Bedtime and Jitterbug. I also like riding in cars, visiting friends at their houses and going to parks and on hikes. I'd love a home with a yard and some kids for me to play with. But, if you don't have a yard and are willing to take me to a dog park to run and play in that would also work. I'd also love a dog friend to live with me and I will never get jealous when they get attention or play with a toy that I want. I am a small to medium size so I won't take up alot of space in the house or on the couch. I’ve also got a fun little talent… I sing! I can't wait to meet my forever family so make an appointment to meet me as soon as you can.

Story
Francis is a 2-year-old Pug who is ready to leave her shelter days behind and finally find the loving home she deserves. Pulled from the Devore shelter, this sweet girl has shown nothing but gentle gratitude and quiet affection since being rescued. Francis is spayed, fully vaccinated, and more than ready to start her new life. She has a calm, easygoing personality and would thrive in a home looking for a loyal companion. She loves to stay close to her people, soaking up attention and giving soft, loving looks that will melt your heart. She’s the kind of pup who doesn’t need to be the center of chaos — she’s happiest curled up beside you on the couch, following you from room to room, or enjoying a peaceful stroll. Her sweet nature and affectionate spirit make her a wonderful match for families, singles, or seniors looking for a devoted little friend. After everything she’s been through, Francis is ready for stability, kindness, and a forever home where she can truly shine. Could you be the one to give this precious girl the happy ending she’s been waiting for?
