Thelma is sweet, smart, energetic, loyal, and goofy! She is fully house-trained and is working on her leash skills which have really improved with her current foster family. She gets along well with other dogs and older kids. (She has not been introduced to cats yet.) She can be a bit anxious, so she probably needs someone who is mostly home. She loves her squeaky toys and playing tug-a-war with other dogs. Rub her tummy and she gets blissed out. Super friendly on walks-wants to say hello to everybody: canine and human. Loves to run full speed when she can. Meet this 18-pound gal by filling out an application and a volunteer will contact you. (JH)

(I'm being fostered in the East Bay)Exuberant Mr. Pickles loves to play, play, play! He has a gorgeous wiry coat and eyes that look to you for connection. He is a happy and confident high-energy pup who appreciates a game of fetch, chewing on kongs, and going for walks where he can take in all the sights and sounds. He is a little barky when he sees other dogs on walks, but is redirected pretty easily. He is learning what it's like to live in a home and is making good progress with crate training and potty training. The cutest thing about Mr. Pickles is his pug-like face on a lanky terrier body - he has such a unique look! He is also known to try to climb up on his foster's lap during meetings, as he loves giving affection. There are dogs of all sizes in Mr. Pickles' foster home and he does great with the whole crew, although he can get a little rambunctious during play. Mr. Pickles would make a great addition to a person or family looking for an active and energetic pup to accompany them on all of life's adventures. We are not sure of Mark's breed, other than "adorable." This guy is a ham. He loves everyone, especially other dogs his size that he can play with. If Mark has an off switch, we haven't found it. He's all go-go-go. Sometimes that can be a bit much for his playmates. He would love to go to another home with another dog with similar energy who is his size or a little bigger (so he can't always get the upper hand, and gets lots of opportunities to expend his energy). Mark also loves humans, especially kids. He soaks up the attention and returns it ten-fold. He has a bit of a mischievous side, and will keep you laughing all day long with his antics. Mark is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Come meet him today. We're pretty sure it will be love at first sight!
