Meet Luna! 💕 This precious 4 month old Pug Terrier mix is about 8 pounds of pure sweetness. Luna is a gentle, tender little girl with a heart of gold and so much love to give. She absolutely adores people and would happily spend her days snuggled up in your arms. Luna gets along wonderfully with other small dogs and would do best in a home with a furry companion to keep her company. She’s an incredibly loving little puppy who is happiest when she’s close to her people and surrounded by love.

Story
If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who wants to be involved in every part of your day, Gerald is your guy. This happy, affectionate pug loves being with his people and will happily follow you from room to room just to see what you're up to. Lovingly called Jerry, this happy guy came to us from a CA Central Valley shelter. We estimate him to be around 3 years old, and he is playful, social, and always ready for an adventure. He enjoys walks, loves attention, and is quick to offer cuddles when it's time to relax. He's eager to please and has a wonderful, goofy personality that makes people fall for him fast. Like many rescue dogs, Jerry is still working on a few things. He's learning leash manners and gets more confident on walks every day. He's also making progress with potty training as he settles into a routine. He has a small undeveloped eye that does not hurt or need to be removed. Jerry would do best in a home where he can be the star of the show and soak up plenty of love and attention. He hasn't been tested with children yet, but everyone he's met so far has been greeted with enthusiasm, curiosity, and lots of affection. He's friendly with cats, but like most dogs will want to chase them if they run. He recently got neutered, a dental cleaning, a microchip, and full vaccinations. If you're looking for a devoted companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Jerry is ready to meet you.

Story
Meet this adorable 5-year-old girl with a face you won't forget. Her big, expressive eyes look like a real-life emoji, and her sweet facial folds somehow make every mood show up on her face. Whether she's curious, unimpressed, excited, or feeling a little extra, you'll know exactly what she's thinking. She came to us as as an owner surrender. She's sweet, cuddly, affectionate, and loves being close to her people. She also enjoys neighborhood walks when it's not too hot, followed by some quality lounging and snuggle time. She's currently working on getting to a healthier weight, but she carries her curves with plenty of confidence. And personality? She has LOTS of it, she is definitely sassy & extra in the cutest way. When it comes to other animals, she prefers to be selective. She does not enjoy cats, bigger dogs, or older female dogs, so she may be happiest as the only pet where she can have all the love and attention to herself. She's a bit of an alpha. Health-wise, she is on life-long thyroid medication. It would be extremely beneficial for her to lose at least 5 pounds for her joints and heart. She's as active as she can be at this size, and we know she's eager to run. If you're looking for a sweet, cuddly little character with an emoji face, expressive wrinkles, and enough sass to keep you smiling, she just might be your girl. She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and just received a dental cleaning. She's being fostered in the North Bay.

Story
Meet Bravo, the ridiculously adorable pug who is every bit as sweet as he looks! Bravo originally came to us from Oakland Animal Services after being found as a stray. We estimate he's about 4 years old. He was adopted a few months ago, but sadly, his owner's health changed and Bravo has found his way back to us. Despite all the changes, this amazing guy is adjusting quickly. His foster lovingly calls him Teddy, because he really is a teddy bear of a pug. More than anything, Bravo wants to be loved. He lives for head scratches, neck rubs, cuddles, and being right next to his person. If you stop petting him, he'll gently place a paw on you to request that you continue. He's a classic velcro pug who happily follows his person from room to room and has absolutely no understanding of personal space. Bravo does well with other dogs and kids, but his favorite place is always right beside his person. He likes to chase cats, never maliciously though. He would benefit from some training around boundaries, just like most pugs. Bravo does have a spinal condition. He was born with a collapsed disc that causes some weakness in his back legs and cannot be surgically corrected. He also has some inflammation and early arthritis in his left knee. The good news is that it is currently well managed with daily anti-inflammatory medication. And this guy does not let it slow him down. He runs around, chases toys, and plays with the other dogs like the happy, active pug he is. He may need additional arthritis care and monitoring as he gets older, but right now, Bravo is busy doing what he does best: being a very good pug. He's working on his potty training still. Bravo is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and currently being fostered in Martinez, CA.

Story
Ethel and Lucy are ready to find their forever home together. A few weeks ago, we introduced you to this sweet bonded pair after they were rescued from a heartbreaking situation. At six years old, Ethel and Lucy had endured years of neglect and abuse. They were used for breeding, confined to crates inside an RV, and denied proper medical care for far too long. Both girls have Grade 4 bilateral luxating patellas, leaving them with permanently displaced kneecaps and bowed legs. Despite everything they've been through, their spirits remain incredibly gentle, loving, and trusting. From the moment they arrived in our care, they leaned on one another for comfort. Ethel lovingly grooms Lucy every day, and the two are rarely apart. They explore side by side, curl up together for naps, and happily hop around the yard without pain. They adore being held, sitting on laps, and following their favorite people wherever they go. Ethel and Lucy are wonderful with children and dogs of all sizes. At our recent adoption event, they happily welcomed attention from everyone they met, soaking up pets and cuddles from strangers with ease. These girls deserve a home filled with love, patience, soft beds, and all the princess treatment they were denied for so many years. If you have a special place in your heart for the ones who need a little extra TLC, please consider opening your home to this extraordinary bonded pair. They'd love nothing more than to cuddle up with you on the couch or enjoy the outdoor breeze with you by their side. Both are spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently had dental work completed. They are currently being fostered near Sacramento. They're potty trained, have good recall, and are great in the car.
