Twix is ready to review your application to take her home!! Twix is a female Rat Terrier who is approx 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. While we know very little about her background, she has adapted to home life just fine. She LOVES human contact and is the best little companion around town! Twix is really pretty chill, she is digging car rides, walks, and anything else you want to do! She is comfortable with a crate as she will stroll in on her own for a little snooze during her busy play days. She interacts well children and dogs; not a huge fan of flies as she is determined to catch any that cross her path! Twix is also doing great with potty! Take her out and she will take care of business!!! She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Twix is asking you contact her Foster mom asap to discuss Twix’s wit, charm, and cuddle skills. She is ready for her forever home. Adoption fee of $450 is required. Jellie came in with her friend Bellie when their owner passed away. Though a little shy when first meeting people, she is blossoming quite well. She gets along with other dogs but would like a home with older children. Jellie can be a runner/door dasher and will need to be worked with that in the home. Jellie and Bella are able to find homes separately. Ask about her today!

Story
Freckles came to us from a rural downstate shelter. We believe she has rat terrier and chihuahua in her DNA. Even though Freckles' estimated age is 9-years old, she has an adorable puppy face. That face lights up when she is on squirrel watch. Her foster dad is careful to make sure the squirrels stay safe when Freckles is outside. We don't know anything about Freckles' past. We do know she is safe in our care until she finds the right home._________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Freckles is $ 400.00WANT TO MEET FrecklesThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. Also, please visit our very active Facebook Page for updates on Freckles and our other adoptable pets with AEAR - www.facebook.com/aear.orgAll our animals available for adoption are living in foster homes. Story
Tula is a wonderful companion who thrives on genuine connection and love. Tula has a lot of love to give and specific needs that make her an ideal companion for the right home. Her comfort with other dogs and her preference for a quieter, adult-only environment are key considerations for anyone looking to adopt her. Her playfulness and intelligence would certainly shine in a home that can provide regular mental stimulation and physical activity, such as teaching her new tricks and enjoying outdoor adventures. For Tula, potential adopters should be prepared to provide a nurturing, attentive setting where she can form strong bonds. Given her discomfort around children, a calm, stable home with one or two adults would likely be ideal. Also, the presence of another playful dog could be a great source of companionship and help her adjust to her new environment more smoothly. It's important to find the right environment for her where she can feel comfortable and happy. Fill out an adoption application to schedule your own private meet and greet with this furry friend. Story
Meet Tina! She is a 1 year old rat terrier/heeler mix rescued with her mom, sister and younger siblings after being dumped in a bad area of town. She is very submissive and a little shy at first but wants she warms up she loves belly rubs! She get's that from her mom! She is great with other dogs of all sizes but prefers medium and small dogs. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She is working on leash walking, potty training and crate training. She is currently 23 lbs with long legs. She is just a sweet girl looking for love and a place to lounge around! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information please email us at sgdrsa@outlook.com. An adoption application can be completed online at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SGDR/Dog Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
