Meet Buck! This middle aged mixed breed lost his home to work demands on his family. Buck is looking for a home where he can be the king of his castle and soak up all of his family’s love. Buck lived in a home with children under 12, teens, men and women. His favorite activities are walking, running , chasing balls and playing tug of war. Buck lived with kitties previously but enjoyed chasing them a little too much. A feline free home is recommended. Buck has met dogs at the Shelter but has demonstrated he would likely want to be the only dog in a home. He has some walking buddies that he will go on sniffari adventures with at the Shelter but he may not prefer to rough house with another dog. Although high traffic dog areas are the best spot for Buck.. don`t fret! - you can still go out and enjoy a busy night on the town as Buck has a history of relaxing and snoozing when left home alone. Some say you can`t teach an old dog new tricks but Buck begs to disagree. He knows `sit`, `down`, `over` and `stay` through verbal cues and hand gestures. Positive reinforcement training of life skills and even fun tricks will help Buck bond with his new family and continue to work his brain. If you are looking for a handsome big boy that has some wisdom with age, come meet Buck today.
