Story
Waldo was found as a stray in November 4 and was scheduled to be euthanized on December 2 despite being the friendliest cuddliest little meatball you will ever meet. My wife and I pulled him off the kill list so that he could have another shot at life and he is already becoming a wonderful part of our dog pack. We would keep him but we already have three dogs and don't have space for another. Waldo is about two years old neutered potty trained and absolutely LOVES playing with other dogs–he's as wiggly and happy as they come. He imprints quickly on people and becomes an instant lover–every time my wife and I sit down on our couch or lie down in our bed he comes up to cuddle with us / sleep next to us. He is just starting to learn his name–he comes when called in the house but he hasn't been off leash in the park and we are just beginning recall and obedience training. He is very submissive and responds well to corrections from other dogs and has already learned to walk in our pack. He is very treat motivated and already knows sit as well as paw! Waldo still has the playful friendliness and eager-to-please demeanor of a puppy so having an adopter who will help continue to socialize and train him will be key! We are helping Waldo's current guardian to rehome him. Please fill out our online application and we will forward to them. Adoption fee would be minimum $100 donation to Furry Friends Rescue. If you have specific questions please send them through and we will put you in touch with his current guardian.December 4, 2025, 12:50 pm

Story
🥭 Mango – The Rottie Queen of Love, Belly Rubs & Second Chances! 🐾👑 At 5 years old and 86 glorious pounds, Mango is basically a weighted blanket with paws—calming, cozy, and impossible not to fall in love with. Rescued from the Visalia Shelter, this girl has a past she’s not talking about, but let’s just say… she’s earned her crown as the Queen of Gentle Hearts. If you raise your hand too fast, Mango might hit the ground and roll belly-up—not for drama, but because somewhere along the way, love wasn’t always what she got. Now? All she wants is to soak up every ounce of kindness she can find (preferably while laying upside down). ✨ What makes Mango extra mango-licious: Professional-level snuggler with built-in heater functionality Gives the kind of soulful stares that make you question everything else in life Zero chaos, 100% chill—perfect for couch dates and slow morning walks Knows how to take up space and your heart A lover, not a barker—unless you’re late with dinner, in which case, fair game Mango is not here for drama. She’s here for love, snacks, belly rubs, and maybe a soft couch with her name on it. She’s a survivor, a softie, and a total sweetheart who’s ready for her happily-ever-after. Ready to give this queen the life she’s always deserved? Come meet Mango. Warning: You will fall in love. 🐶💕

Story
Meet NELLY! If you're in search of a laid-back companion, a movie buddy, and a loving family member all in one, Nelly is your gal! This amazing dog is open-armed to be a part of any family. Despite her guardian breed, she's not your typical guard dog – instead, she welcomes everyone with a joyful wiggle and a kiss. Nelly is a heart-stealer, especially with kids of all ages. At around 9 years old, she may have some mild arthritis, but thanks to pain management, you wouldn't even notice – she's living her best pain-free life! Nelly, a mama who came to us from the Central Valley, delivered 11 puppies on her first day with us. She's a large breed, weighing about 120 lbs, and with that size comes big rewards. Her personality is truly one of a kind – she'll entertain you for hours. A gentle giant, Nelly is looking for someone who'll shower her with the affection she deserves. Due to her size, she'd do best as the only dog in the home. She gets along well with dogs of similar energy levels or those who don't pay much attention to her. Small animals might trigger her prey drive, so caution is needed around them. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Nelly, head over to www.aarflove.org and complete an application. She's eagerly waiting to find her furever home, and it could be with you!

Story
Meet our sweet 2-year-old Doberman and Rottweiler mix. He is a friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered dog who enjoys being around people and is gentle by nature. He is potty trained and understands basic household routines, making him an easy companion in the home. He has a calm and pleasant temperament, is social, and enjoys attention and companionship. He does well with consistent structure and would thrive in a home that can provide regular exercise, engagement, and affection. This decision to rehome him has not been easy. Due to the owner’s health condition, we are no longer able to provide the level of care, activity, and attention he deserves. Our priority is finding a loving and stable home where he can continue to grow, be cared for properly, and live a happy life. He would be a wonderful addition to a family or individual who has the time and ability to meet his needs and give him the love he deserves.

Story
🐾 Meet Lucky Lucky is a 15-month-old Doberman Pinscher with a calm, gentle, and submissive temperament. He is not a high-drive or working-line Doberman and is best suited for a quiet, stable home that values companionship, routine, and connection. This rehoming is no fault of Lucky’s. He is a good dog with a kind heart. After thoughtful consideration, we’ve realized that a calmer environment will better support his long-term happiness and well-being, and this decision is being made entirely in his best interest. Lucky has a low-to-moderate activity level. He enjoys short daily walks, light play, and relaxing with his people most of the time. He is affectionate, people-oriented, and thrives with patient, consistent guidance. He does best with calm, balanced dogs of similar temperament or as the only dog, as he prefers peaceful coexistence over high-energy play. If you seek a loyal, gentle companion who thrives in a calm home, loves routine, and enjoys bonding, Lucky may be right.
