Story
Buffy is a beautiful, healthy 3-year-old purebred Rottweiler with papers. She is affectionate, stable, well-socialized, and truly loves being part of the family. Rehoming her is heartbreaking, but I am moving to the Philippines and want to place her with a home that will love her as much as I do. Buffy loves other dogs, does well with children, and wants to be near her people. She would happily cuddle in bed now and then, but she is adaptable and will respect household rules. She has the loyal, intelligent, protective temperament people want in a Rottweiler, with a deep bark that deters intruders without constant barking. She has no health problems, has worked with two trainers, knows 5 commands, walks 3+ miles a day, and has been raised with care. Best of all, I will continue paying her Lemonade health insurance for life. She is established with Banfield, which has locations nationwide. Buffy is an exceptional companion and a beautiful, loving family dog. I will miss her.

Story
Magic is exactly what her name promises—pure, easygoing sweetness wrapped in a cuddle-loving companion. If you’re looking for a low-key best friend who would rather snuggle on the couch than chase toys, Magic is your girl. She enjoys leisurely walks around the neighborhood, taking her time to sniff and explore. Every now and then she’ll surprise you with a playful burst of energy for a quick game of chase. She’s also a big fan of treats and loves the fun challenge of sniffing them out in her snuffle pad. This lovely girl is a dream in the home. She’s both crate-trained and fully potty trained, with zero accidents—even after several hours alone. She rides beautifully in the car, typically curling up and snoozing the whole way. Magic has never met a stranger—truly. Every person she meets is instantly her friend, and she greets new faces with gentle enthusiasm and a wagging tail. She’s also shown polite curiosity with other dogs on walks. With no behavioral challenges to note, Magic is as easy as they come—gentle, affectionate, and ready to bring warmth and calm to her forever home. If you’re dreaming of a sweet, snuggly companion who will happily keep you company on the couch and in life, Magic might just be your perfect match. Put an application in to meet her today!

Bella was my sister dog, she left her with me and moved out of state. Bella is good with kids, she’s a great guard dog. She only barks when someone come see your door. She’s five years old, but she’s very playful and gives big puppy vibes.

Story
Hi! My name is Rowdy Zane, and I’m a handsome Rottweiler—possibly with a little Black Retriever mixed in. I’m a big, lovable guy, at around 85 pounds, but don’t let my size fool you. I’m one of the sweetest, friendliest dogs you’ll ever meet. I get along beautifully with just about everyone and everything. Right now I’m living in a foster home with more dogs than you can imagine, and we all coexist peacefully. I’m respectful of the other dogs and enjoy their company, but I don’t really engage in play with them. I’m perfectly happy simply sharing my space, so I’d do wonderfully in a home with another friendly dog that enjoys the same laid-back lifestyle. I also don’t depend on having another dog around for companionship, which means I’d make a fantastic only dog, happily soaking up all the love and attention from my family. I’m an easygoing, happy-go-lucky dog with a gentle soul, but I definitely have my playful side too! I get bursts of energy where I love to run, play, and have fun, but once I’ve gotten my wiggles out, I’m more than happy to settle down and relax with my people. People are my favorite! My love language is touch, and I especially enjoy leaning against you for affection. Snuggles are one of life’s greatest pleasures, and if you’ll let me, I’ll happily stay close by your side. I’m very social and would make an excellent companion for dog-friendly patios, outdoor restaurants, breweries, and cafés. I’ll happily relax by your side while you enjoy a meal or a cup of coffee. I’m not much of a barker, and I’m not the type to jump all over people. I’m simply happiest being close to my humans. I’m house-trained and crate-trained, so I’ve already mastered some of the most important house manners. I’m very smart, highly treat-motivated, and eager to please, which makes me a lot of fun to train. Like many young, enthusiastic dogs, I can gently mouth your hands when I’m excited, so I’ll need some continued guidance to help me learn better ways to express my excitement. I could also use a little polishing on my leash manners, but with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I’ll catch on quickly. My foster family is confident I’ll continue to blossom with a little training and structure. I’ve been told I have beautiful, soulful eyes, the sweetest smile, and a gorgeous mostly black coat with just a touch of wave to it. Because I’m a big boy, I’d probably be happiest in a single-family home with a yard where I have room to stretch my legs. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, easygoing companion who enjoys adventures just as much as quiet evenings together, I might be the perfect match. I can’t wait to meet my forever family! *Temporary Medical Update Rowdy is currently sporting a splint on his front left leg due to a broken toe that he came into rescue with. The good news is that it’s healing well, and he should only need the splint for another couple of weeks. The funniest part? Rowdy doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal at all! It certainly hasn’t slowed him down, and he’s adapted remarkably well. He still enjoys life, loves being with his people, and is every bit the happy, affectionate dog described above. Rowdy is available for adoption now, and the rescue will cover all veterinary expenses related to his toe until it is fully healed and the splint is no longer needed. So don’t let a temporary splint keep you from meeting your new best friend - it will be off before you know it! Story
HI, I'M SHANNON, I LOVE KIDS AND OTHER DOGS. I HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED AND AM A VERY SMART GIRL. PLEASE APPLY AT WWW.BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG/APPLICATIONS OR INQUIRE AT INFO@BARKVILLEDOGRESCUE.ORG IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ME. Meet Shannon, a beautiful, young Rottweiler/Black and Tan Coonhound mix with a heart as lovely as her striking looks. At about 21/2 years old and 55 pounds, she has an athletic build, a gorgeous coat, and an even more beautiful personality. Shannon is sweet, friendly, and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She has a playful spirit, enjoys being active, and would love a family that will include her on daily walks, hikes, or other adventures. After a day of fun, she's just as happy to relax and be by your side. This smart girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and was professionally trained at Rucker's Dog Training, where she learned excellent manners and many commands. She walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a well-behaved dog. Shannon's story began with uncertainty. She was found as a stray and brought to Walton Animal Control, where her future was far from guaranteed. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her just in time. Now all she needs is the one thing she has never truly had--a loving forever home. Shannon has so much love to give and is ready to share her loyal heart with a family of her own. Could you be the one to give this deserving girl the happy ending she's been waiting for? If you're interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.August 25, 2026, 2:07 pm
