Meet Shannon, a beautiful, young Rottweiler/Black and Tan Coonhound mix with a heart as lovely as her striking looks. At about 21/2 years old and 55 pounds, she has an athletic build, a gorgeous coat, and an even more beautiful personality. Shannon is sweet, friendly, and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She has a playful spirit, enjoys being active, and would love a family that will include her on daily walks, hikes, or other adventures. After a day of fun, she's just as happy to relax and be by your side. This smart girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and was professionally trained at Rucker's Dog Training, where she learned excellent manners and many commands. She walks beautifully on a leash and is eager to please, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a well-behaved dog. Shannon's story began with uncertainty. She was found as a stray and brought to Walton Animal Control, where her future was far from guaranteed. Thankfully, we were able to rescue her just in time. Now all she needs is the one thing she has never truly had--a loving forever home. Shannon has so much love to give and is ready to share her loyal heart with a family of her own. Rehoming her is heartbreaking, but I am moving to the Philippines and want to place her with a home that will love her as much as I do. Buffy loves other dogs, does well with children, and wants to be near her people. She would happily cuddle in bed now and then, but she is adaptable and will respect household rules. She has the loyal, intelligent, protective temperament people want in a Rottweiler, with a deep bark that deters intruders without constant barking. She has no health problems, has worked with two trainers, knows 5 commands, walks 3+ miles a day, and has been raised with care. Best of all, I will continue paying her Lemonade health insurance for life. She is established with Banfield, which has locations nationwide. Buffy is an exceptional companion and a beautiful, loving family dog. I will miss her.
