Story
Draco is a quick learner and very silly, with lots of energy and a love for play time. However, since I got pregnant, I have no longer been able handle his strength. Draco is very sweet and needs a loving home. He’s very protective of his loved ones, and is good with people for the most part. He grew up with dogs and cats in his home, but just because of what breed he is, he needs to be supervised for the most part. This breed is known for not being well with children, so I have avoided exposing him to any. He is crate trained as well, so you can leave him in one whenever you leave the house and he should be fine. I would prefer his future home has a fenced in yard if possible for him to run around since he needs a good amount of space.

Story
Shannon is a young athletic Rottweiler/ Pointer mix looking for her forever family! She has a beautiful coat, and an athletic build! Shannon is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 55lbs. She is dog friendly, and very playful. Shannon is working on her house training, crate training, and is learning her basic commands. She has a sweet and friendly personality. This deserving girl was picked up as a stray, then ended up at Walton Animal Control. She soon came down with a respiratory illness. BarkVille Dog Rescue pulled her, and she is now fully healthy and vetted, and ready for her forever family. Shannon has a medium energy level, and would benefit from a family who will provide her basic training and regular exercise. She can jump very high, and will need a tall privacy fenced yard, and owners who will keep an eye on this mischievous girl. Shannon would likely excel with agility training! Since she still needs to fine tune her manners, no small kids for this girl. If you&#39re interested in adopting Shannon, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications. BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.February 23, 2026, 9:08 am

Story
Deuce is 3 1/2 will turn 4 in April, he's a pretty simple dog just dont have the time to really tend to him as much as needs. He's a pure bead German Rottweiler. When he was purchased his father and mother were still alive and doing well. He was purchased from a young lady who breeds nothing but Rottweilers. He's very friendly never raised him to be aggressive i have a 3 year girl and have never had any issues with him dealing with her. He's potty trained and trained for most signals such as sit, lay down roll over...... would just like to have see him go to a family that has the room for him along with the time to tend to him.

Story
Peanut is a 1year old mixed breed that was acquired by my partner from a sketchy breeder (she didn’t want the pup to be sold to someone evil). He is a very active dog with lots of energy! He loves playing with his toys, especially his tug rope. He loves having frozen snacks and getting affection from everyone around him. He’s not trained very well so he’ll need someone patient and willing to train him. He’s potty trained, and a very good boy. We just want him to have the attention and resources he deserves, and we’re not able to give him that at the moment.

Story
I AM CURRENTLY IN A FOSTER HOME! Please reach out to the office to set up a time to meet with me!Meet Pancake — a precious roll of love with a heart even bigger than her adorable name. When she first came to us, Pancake was in extremely obese condition, but with time, care, and determination, she has already made meaningful progress on her weight-loss journey.True to her name, Pancake melts right onto the ground the moment you start petting her, soaking up every ounce of affection she can get. She’s sweet, gentle, and loves being part of whatever is happening around her. As she’s begun to feel better in her body, she’s also discovering the joy of being more active and enjoying short, happy walks at her own pace.Recently, we learned that Pancake has been diagnosed with bone cancer. At this time, we don’t know how much time she has left, but we do know this: she deserves comfort, love, and dignity for every day she has ahead of her.Pancake would do wonderfully in a hospice foster (She found one!) or a forever home willing to open their heart to her for her final chapter — a quiet place full of soft beds, gentle affection, and someone who will cherish her just as she is. In return, Pancake will give unconditional love, gratitude, and the kind of soul-deep companionship that only a truly special dog can offer. If you’re able to provide a peaceful, loving home for Pancake, even for a short while, you would mean the world to her.Currently, I am available for adoption. If you`re interested in adopting me, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480. Adoption hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11-5 or Friday and Saturday 1-5.

Story
Meet Waldo - Your Sunshine-Loving, Big-Hearted Buddy German Shepherd/Hound Mix 70 lbs Dog-Friendly (Medium/Large Dogs Only) Waldo is one of those dogs who greets the world with a smile. This handsome German Shepherd/Hound mix, weighing around 70 pounds, has been stuck in a boarding facility far too long, patiently waiting for someone to finally choose him. It's time for Waldo's story to change - and he could be the perfect match for the right family. Waldo LOVES people and does wonderfully with children. He's playful, friendly, and happiest when he's outside soaking up the sunshine. Whether it's running around, exploring the yard, or just lounging in the warm grass, Waldo is in his element outdoors. He gets along great with dogs his own size or larger, but he should not live with small dogs or cats. With dogs in his weight class, he's social, playful, and enjoys having a buddy to romp with. Despite waiting so long, Waldo's spirit is still bright. He just needs someone to give him a real chance - someone who will take him out of the boarding life and into a loving home where he can relax, play, and finally feel like he belongs. Waldo's Best Qualities: Friendly, happy, and loves people Great with children Dog-friendly (with medium/large dogs) Playful, energetic, and loves being outdoors Sunshine is his favorite thing Handsome German Shepherd/Hound mix Has waited a long time and deserves a true forever home Waldo is ready to bring joy, energy, and companionship into someone's life. If you're looking for a loyal, playful friend who will brighten your days, Waldo is waiting with a wagging tail. Please contact Teresa to discuss Waldo 404-281-8878

Story
Benji is a Doberman/Heeler mix (best guess) - about 5 years old. He has gone through training and knows tons of commands. And although he is dog friendly, he can be leash reactive. He enjoys cuddles and squirrel chasing equally. He would thrive in a home that's active and patient. He has lived with dogs as small as 6 lbs and can adjust his play accordingly.
