BRUCE is a fantastic sweet dog! Healthy and a great companion pet.  He is in danger of being euthanized if a new home is not found. Family must move back overseas to a third world area due to sickness of parent, and cannot take their dogs.  Raised from a cute puppy. Same home all his life. They will NOT DUMP him at an overcrowded shelter if they cannot find a home.  He would be killed immediately as an owner surrender. He gets along with most ALL dogs, large and small, except for some few big dominant male dogs. VERY social dog. Bruce has to find a new home by June 1. As a rescue, AWHAR investigated and we verified that they have tried tons of avenues.  But there are just SO many dogs out there and he is a large dog.   Bruce has lived n the same home all his life.    Social dog - he  likes women and warms quickly to men.  He is neutered, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative, and microchipped.   He lives with two older pit bulls, a male and a female, and they all visit relatives who have big dogs.  He loves his pit pals. The two very senior pit bulls will go two relatives.  Good home for Bruce would be an active woman or man who are confident leaders. Must be a house. But he does not have to have a fenced yard. He prefers women during initial meetings, but will bond to a man owner also... and quickly!    Bruce would like a fenced yard, but doesn't have to have one if you are active and walk him often and possibly hike.   He gets to big dogs. No cats please.
