Meet Brutus 💙 Brutus is 5-6 years old and is a deeply affectionate, people-loving boy who thrives on closeness with his humans. He loves cuddling, being petted, and will happily sleep next to you at night. Wherever you go, Brutus is likely to follow — often carrying his favorite soothing toy in his mouth for comfort. He is good with other dogs. Brutus knows basic commands and is fully housebroken, which makes settling into a new home much easier. He enjoys playtime, especially tug-of-war, and he takes his toy destruction job very seriously (squeaker toys beware!). He walks well on leash and does best wearing a harness, ideally a front-clip harness. He may pull a little and can bark when he sees people out on walks, but he recovers quickly and continues on. This behavior appears to be excitement or uncertainty rather than aggression, and with consistency, patience, and positive training, it continues to improve. Brutus is not a fan of being confined away from his people. He will voluntarily rest in his crate when it’s open and his human is nearby, but being crated while left alone is stressful for him. He would do best in a home that understands this and is willing to help him gradually build confidence with alone time. With stability, routine, and love, Brutus truly shines. He is a cuddly, loyal companion who bonds deeply and brings a lot of joy to those around him. Lexa walked through our door about three months ago. She was fixed at SPCA in July of 2025. We think she's about 1-2 years old. Lexa got along with the rest of the pack right away. The neighborhood kids and my grandson love her. She tends to nip when she's excited and jump. Lexa is house broken. She will let you know when it's time for a walk, if you're home. Lexa does walk on a leash and pulls a lot. Lexa really loves to snuggle! Anywhere and anytime. She seems to have had some training. She knows hand signals well and also listens to verbal commands.

I am a big soft lug who wants a porch, a sofa, and a human who likes slow pats on the head. My energy is just right. I can hang out, go for a walk, sniff around the yard, then come inside and settle next to you. I walk well on a leash. I do not make things hard. I like being easy. I dont want any ruckus. I get along with male and female dogs. I am a gentleman until someone tries to boss me around. I do not start trouble, but I also do not let pushy dogs run the show. I usually get along best with female dogs. Having said that, I have a rescue buddy (male) here and we do great together. We move at the same pace. We enjoy the same simple things. So I guess, like you humans, it's if our personalities get along! People say I am the kind of dog who makes life feel calmer. I am not loud. I am not clingy. I am just present. Meet Spoon. He’s a 2 year old boxer pit mix. I adopted him a year ago. He is truly the sweetest boy, and a big cuddle bug. He loves people with a passion. He’s always is up for an adventure, a run, or just playing with his favorite ball. Spoon has idiopathic head tremor syndrome. Which means when he gets anxious his head shakes, is on meds for his anxiety, and they have stopped his shakes. Unfortunately spoon is reactive to dogs, cats, and sometimes kids. Due to the fact that he is so excited and can’t calm himself down. I need to rehome him because I have a new job that has me at work more often than home. It is unfair to diminish his quality of life by keeping him at home. He truly is the best dog when he is on his own. He’s looking for a home where he can be the star of the show!
